"Sigh"

Where did I say Hell was a purifying fire?
Are you even trying to understand what I'm saying?
or are you just opposed to everything I say?
I don't know. How many fires are their after the resurrection. I can only go off what you said.

My point was we are cleansed by blood. Not fire.

Those that God gave to Jesus to die for (John 6:37-41)were cleansed of all of their sins as far as eternal salvation is concerned, but we still sin by the nature of our flesh, but these sins will not be charged to God's elect for eternal salvation.. Jesus uses the fire as a purifing agent, just as fire was used to purify gold by heating it to a certain tempreture to bring the dross to the top to be skimmed off of the pure gold. Our trials and tribulations here in this world is Jesus purifing us from the sins , dross, of this world. Examples; 1 Pet 1:6-7, 1 Pet 4:12-13.

It means all of our sinful corruption will be burned up so that we never sin again.

Revelation 3 (KJV)

17Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

18I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

19As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
