I quit smoking 8 days ago...I don't have a "crutch' at the moment and between that and other important factors, I'm on edge so bad...very touchy to anything. I missed meds 2 nights ago due to a snowstorm and couldn't get home. My mistake. That is also a factor. I've read scripture, prayed some, taken an anti-anxiety med...it made me tired, that's all. I have to work in two hours. Please pray for me. God bless! -student

Exercise would do WONDERS for your anxiety and you desire for nicotine. Drink lots of water to flush out your system and the craving will seem unbearable for about 5 days

Thank You Jesus for students victory !!! :D

Psalms 37:7 Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act.

i don't know your attitude but might it be easier weening off slower, you know less cigs each day? i pray you win your battle with the greatest ease.

Lord we pray for student. Please touch and bless. In Jesus name, Amen!

praying for the strength of the Lord to be upon you as you fight for this kind of battle

I picked up nicotine gum. It didn't help much and appears I have a cold coming on, but got through the night. Thanks for all your prayers and support! -student

I was a heavy smoker and gave up the habit in 1986. It wasn't easy for about six weeks. Then the urge to smoke went away and I've never had it again. Satan will try to trick you into smoking. Don't listen to him.

I'm fighting in the name of Jesus every moment. It's going well. I'm gearing up for the battles with a resolve to serve the Lord, not this insane habit. Thank you. -student

I pray ... also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know ... his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead...

Hugs student, good faith so far, Ill continue to keep you in my prayers in Jesus for all success. :)

God bless
