Be upright and the Creator’s Way will ruin the enemies in your life and strengthen you for the good.
• “The way of Jehovah is strength to the upright; but ruin is to the workers of iniquity.” (Pro 10:29).
There are three types of people:
1 – The wicked: to do the right thing, for them, is abomination e destruction:
• “An unjust man is a hateful thing to the just; and he who is upright in the way is hateful to the wicked.” (Prov 29:27);
2 - The workers of iniquity: they can even do the right thing, but on the wrong way. They can’t stand the light; it is destruction and ruin for them because they love their works instead of Christ’s works and words (John 3:19-21):
• “It is joy to the just to do judgment, but ruin shall be to the workers of iniquity.” (Prov 21:15).
• “Not everyone who says to Me, Lord! Lord! shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord! Lord! Did we not prophesy in Your name, and through Your name throw out demons, and through Your name do many wonderful works? And then I will say to them I never knew you! Depart from Me, those working lawlessness!” (Mat 7:21-23).
In other words, they wish what is good, but through their own methods, capacity, strength, etc. They wish what is good, but for their glory, for getting merits before the Creator and the men. Their desire is to hide their character behind their good works.
3 – The workers of Jesus: those who allow Jesus live His life in them. They are always full of oil in their lamps so that their identity (face) in Christ can be seen clearly. After all:
• “But we all, with our face having been unveiled, having beheld the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are being changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Lord Spirit.” (2Co 3:18).
So, have a good weekend in the way of the Creator, for this is your strength and joy (Nehemiah 8:10).
