I dont know how you americans see this. In europe at seems that Trump and Musk doing everything for to fight against democracy and freedom to encrease their own Power and influence.
politics gives the illusion of democracy but if we have at least a sense of our own distant history we can see that it’s a veil for secular enslavement,it really does not matter who is in power and what continent , these power so called elites are bound by occult oaths and are all singing from the same song book,
We are fighting against principalities and powers from the darkside and the devil is the Lord of this air and he has his fingers in every pie
Politics
Religion
Education
Economy
Wars
Etc
Etc

Fear not Christ says

Side stepping the issue with "what about."

People put horrible people in Congress on both sides who are just in for the money and advantage and the lawlessness is what you receive, why because they do not care, they are beholden to their donors and riding the gravy train for as long as possible.
This isn't side stepping this is you not weighing issues correctly.
This is what an indipendent does.
WHen you have rampant crime and people are focused on the pronouns instead of the crime, then people say 'enough' and elect these people for the change we're seeing now.
Very simple.

I just think you are caught in the dichotomy of liberals bad, conservatives good.
Corruption is ubiquitous and if Trump was serious on reform he should have started where the real corruption resides not the slave class.

Why? Where should anybody focus on the binary show in the American political system?
On the weather?

This is what we got. This is what we have to play with.
"The lesser of two evils". Not a great system but so far it's been going well.
So because these two are the only things or parties we have to talk about, the discussion revolves around them.

Corruption is one of the most serious felonies existing in America and other parts of the world. To the common people it is usually too complex to understand what exactly corruption is and what the consequences are. Unfortunately it is also difficult for the politicians to realize this.

When @Eli1 refers to crime on the streets as true crime he is inaccurate. Both are crimes society should deal with harshly.

For some reason some politicians are now taking down our means of fighting white collar crime. The question is why.

In Musk Email it gives the deadline to respond as Monday night. It also says anyone failing to respond will be taken as an resignation. Hunting season opens at 12:01 AM Tuesday February 25th 2025 be sure to wear your hunter orange.
This is what Musk really wanted, a detailed description of what every job does so that He can calculate how much of that work can be done by AI and how many workers he needs to be left to help train the AI.

Sometimes i wonder if you even live in America.
I mean i've been a guest here for a few decades and i can see things very clearly.

Corruption affects everyone. You could say that the Dems were doing a lot of corruption with their ideology which in-turn exhibited itself in the street corruption where the criminals go free.
I mean, do you even watch the History Channel once in a while how the mafia used to control a lot of aspects of the American society starting from unions, politics and cash flow in the early 20s and then 50s?
That's corruption!

Similarly when a political party focuses on identity politics instead of common sense, that is also corruption because then the regular guy on the street can do anything with no fear of repercussions.

@Squigglylines , my friend you don't work for the federal government do you?
Because one of my co-workers who has a friend who works for the Fed said that her friend was crying because they asked her to return to the office after 5 years.

Can you imagine?
The horror of working on-site is too much for some people (liberals) and it's a crime against humanity.
What does this response have to do with what he wrote?

Because he mentioned the FBI director and that some good people might be affected.
Do you need a coffee or something? Chilling out in the cruise? :coffee:

Certainly there is need for reform and trimming back budgets etc., but it seems they are okay with the destabilizing effect on the people.
It was past governments that caused these problems and the workers are the ones being punished.
Yes, but with AI

What about focusing on the real criminals, you know the ones who enter public life with a few hundred thousand and exit multi- millionaires.

Also, how about billionaires do not get to buy elections, that is not democracy.

As well, did you know that the founding fathers were paid Per Diem so that they were not above the populace and it was actual service to be in Congress, not a place to amass great wealth.
This is how you flip people. Fire them, threaten litigation and then they offer up a bigger fish.

I’m glad you are the one seeing things clearly. It’s no doubt you have spent those decades in New England. People from that region have a tendency of being the down your nose know-it-all personality.

Your posts are making less sense now than just a few days ago. Instead of degrading everyone not in full agreement with you, take the time and show some respect for others. You don’t want to come across a clown.

"Just in it for the money"? Really? You don't think they also enjoy being on TV and being invited to swanky parties and getting to fly first class to exotic islands?
