I think so many of us in the western world when we hear of Islamic radicals beheading a christian, we think of a quick clean death guillotine style where in a split second it is over. Both of these videos showed not a clean death, but a gruesome, slow beheading with little more than hunting knife. Yes, it turned my stomach to watch them, but likewise it opened my eyes to the reality of what or brother's and sisters in the middle east risk daily for their faith.

Our hearts and prayers go to all brothers and sisters in Christ there.

John 15 : 18-19
“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.
If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you."

Revelation 20:4
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I
saw the souls of them that were
beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of
God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his
mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a
thousand years.

Where else does scripture discuss beheading?

David first slew Goliath, then beheaded him:

1 Samuel 17:51
Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of
the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines
saw their champion was dead, they fled.

2 Samuel 4:6-8

And they came thither into the midst of the house, as though they would have fetched
wheat; and they smote him under the fifth rib: and Rechab and Baanah his brother
escaped. For when they came into the house, he lay on his bed in his bedchamber, and
they smote him, and slew him, and beheaded him, and took his head, and gat them away
through the plain all night.
And they brought the head of Ishbosheth unto David to Hebron, and said to the king,
Behold the head of Ishbosheth the son of Saul thine enemy, which sought thy life; and the
Lord hath avenged my lord the king this day of Saul, and of his seed.

Of course John the Baptist was notoriously beheaded, having been imprisoned for open
rebuke of Herod and for the desire of Herod to please a woman.

NOT SURE I SEE IT THERE IN THE BIBLE (Other than that it happens). We do see however
other instances of the death penalty in the Bible under the Law ... Perhaps one
interpretation is that Beheading is more humane than say, Stoning or being Poisoned,
Electrocuted, or thrown off a cliff ...

I don't think it's just Islam as that is a newer religion

THE NOAHIDE LAWS AND THE TALMUD - THE PHARISAICAL COURTS OF LAW?

Where else might we see this?
The seven laws listed by the Tosefta and the Talmud are:

  1. Prohibition of Idolatry
  2. Prohibition of Murder
  3. Prohibition of Theft
  4. Prohibition of Sexual immorality
  5. Prohibition of Blasphemy
  6. Prohibition of eating flesh taken from an animal while it is still alive
  7. Establishment of courts of law

The Talmud laid down the statutory punishment for transgressing any one of the Seven
Laws of Noah (but not other parts of the Noahide code) as capital punishment by

decapitation, which is considered one of the lightest of the four modes of execution of

criminals. According to some opinions, punishment is the same whether the individual

transgresses with knowledge of the law or is ignorant of the law.

Reference
Link -->> Noahide laws - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

* Blasphemy for saying "Jesus is Lord"? ...

* Stealing for not paying government mandated poll taxes, say on mandatory Insurance or Church Tax?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

* Will you see beheadings for real Idolatry tho? Worshipping American Idol, Sports,
Music, Entertainment, Santa and the Bunny, a flying dog or bird in the Macy's Day Parade
and other forms of BAAL or Idol Worship?

* Will you see beheadings for Sexual Immorality by government officials (teachers and
police are government too remember)?

* Will you see beheadings for Sexual Immorality of all those who support and practice
Homosexuality?

Will you see beheadings for Sexual Immorality or Murder for those who commit or are
involved in Abortion (or illegitimacy, or adultery, or fornication or divorce or remarriage)?

Is this just a merging of Sharia Law, Talmudic Law and the desire of
some Baptists such as Rich Warren of the CFR and World Council of
Churches to create a sort of welfare and socialist state for a
religious elite and Marxism or death for the rest?

* Will Jews and Non-Jews be treated by the same standards?

From the Jewish Virtual Library: LIABILITY FOR VIOLATION OF THE LAWS

While committed to the principle that "There is nothing permitted to an Israelite yet
forbidden to a heathen" (Sanh. 59a), the seven Noachide Laws were not as extensive as
the parallel prohibitions applicable to Jews, and there are indeed situations in which a
non-Jew would be liable for committing an act for which a Jew would not be liable. As to
the latter point, as a general rule, the Noachide is criminally liable for violation of any of
his seven laws even though technical definitional limitations would prevent liability by a
Jew performing the same act. Thus a non-Jew is liable for blasphemy – even if only with
one of the divine attributes; murder – even of a *foetus; robbery – even of less than a
perutah; and the eating of flesh torn from a living animal – even of a quantity less than
the size of an olive. In all these cases a Jew would not be liable (Sanh. 56a–59b; Yad,
Melakhim, ch. 9, 10). One additional element of greater severity is that violation of any
one of the seven laws subjects the Noachide to capital punishment by decapitation (Sanh.
57a).

The persecution of Christians began with the stoning of Stephen, the martyrdom of the Apostles, and many more down through the ages for standing for the truth in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Word of God. It should not come as any surprise to any believer for the Lord said,Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.” John 15:20

I’ve posted some links below to these must read books about some of the saints that have gone to be with the Lord and how their blood was shed for standing for the truth in God’s Word. I hope many of the readers of this post read these books. For the atrocities which happened back then continue unto this day to our fellow brothers and sisters that stand firm in their faith and love for our Lord and Savior.

The first link is to Martyrs Mirror by Thieleman J. van Braght.

In today’s world many of these persecutions continue to happen to our brethern in foreign countries that do not have the freedom of religion and more so in Islamic countries. The biggest threat to Christians and Jews today is Islam. Islam in their so called holy book the Koran tells their followers to smite the unbelievers above the neck in sura 8.12
008.012: Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): “I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them.”
Those who are truly following Islam are doing exactly what it teaches and beheading any unbeliever who will not submit to Islam.

Scripture tells us why they were beheaded.
Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

For the witness of Jesus, and for the Word of God these saints gave their lives.

In an article by Patrick Poole dated July 5, 2007 and posted on the American Thinker February 27, 2012, Poole said, “From Nigeria to Indonesia, Christians are under siege in virtually every single country in the Muslim world, the victims of countless acts of discrimination, depredation, brutality, and murder that are so widespread and systematic that it can rightfully be called the new Holocaust.”
He also said, “The global war on Christianity by Islam is so massive in size and scope that it is virtually impossible to describe without trivializing it.”
This article can be read in it’s entirety at the following link.
http://www.americanthinker.com/2007/07/islams_global_war_against_chri.html

While I think that the videos were quite graphic I think that more people should see them so they might remember to keep these brethern in their prayers for standing firm in their love and faith in Jesus Christ and not submitting to the beast. And that the Lord’s hand will be upon these saints as they endure persecution for bringing the Light into a dark world.

As Islam spreads this verse may be more relevant to all of us.
Rom 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

I don't know exactly where the beheadings happened (maybe Azizi can tell us -- was it Saudi Arabia?), but here are some factoids about Azizi's country, Saudi Arabia (from Wikipedia):

"Items and articles belonging to religions other than Islam are prohibited.[3] These include Bibles, ..."

"Conversion of a Muslim to another religion is considered apostasy,[3] a crime punishable by death if the accused does not recant."

Source (Wikipedia): Christianity in Saudi Arabia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
well, in Saudi Arabia they do the same the radical muslims and most of the time the government do that especially after Friday prayers, I tired to video beheading once and the gov. took my new iphone away , so in here they do the same but without video typing that is the only difference b/w here and other muslim countries is in here the GOVERNMENT do the beheading in front of ppl ,while in other countries the ppl do that .

God differentiates us from animals by giving us ability to think in our brains, he created us as his image so we can treat others with respect and love. When i watched this video i realized that these "people" are treating others in a totally opposite way as if they are animals.
When i was a little girl i used to watch animals are killing each other aggressively, i thought oh well these are animals, no such thing happen between humans, but i was wrong...
Is this HUMANITY? Is that how humanity is improving?

Azizi, may our Lord bless you, and keep you safe. Thank you for showing us what faith in Jesus r-e-a-l-l-y means.
I think we westerners lose sight of how very precious it is.
My husband and I financially support an organization called "Voice of the Martyrs". They sent a book called "Tortured for Christ" that I still haven't been able to finish, to my shame. :(

You will be in my daily prayers, my brother. ♥

We should not be afraid to speak the truth. Do not go gentle into that good night, and all. Here is an excellent quote by Ravi Zacharias who constantly goes to Islamic countries and says these things to the face of the leaders of those countries. A very brave man. I respect him greatly.

The teaching of Jesus is clear. No one ought to be compelled to become a Christian. This sets the Christian faith drastically apart from Islam. In no country where the Christian faith is the faith of the majority is it illegal to propagate another faith. There is no country in the world that I know of where the renunciation of one’s Christian faith puts one in danger of being hunted down by the powers of the state.

Yet, there are numerous Islamic countries where it is against the law to publicly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, and where a Muslim who renounces his or her belief in Islam to believe in anything else risks death. Freedom to critique the text of the Koran and the person of Mohammed are prohibited by the laws of blasphemy, and the result is torturous punishment.

One must respect the concern of a culture to protect what it deems sacred, but to compel a belief in Jesus Christ is foreign to the gospel, and that is a vital difference. The contrast is all too clear.
Here is another quotation by Ravi. One of my absolute favorites. Please read it.

But the last day, I saw one of the leaders of Hamas, one of the four founders. I went there for one reason; I had one question for him. He gave us a great meal, told us of eighteen years he’d served in prison, some of his children had been lost in suicide bombings, and this and that. And I had a question. I said, “Sheik, I may never see you again and forgive me if I’m asking you the wrong question. Please tell me, what do you think of suicide bombing and sending your children out like that?” I didn’t like his answer. I couldn’t say much. The room was full of smoke.

After he finished his answer, I said, “Sheik, you and I may never see each other again, so I want you to hear me. A little distance from here is a mountain upon which Abraham went 5,000 years ago to offer his son. You may say the son was one; I may say it’s another. Let’s not argue about that. He took his son up there. And as the axe was about to fall, God said, ‘Stop.’” I said, “Do you know what God said after that?” He shook his head. I said, “God said, ‘I myself will provide.’” He nodded his head. I said, “Very close to where you and I are sitting, Sheik, is a hill. Two thousand years ago, God kept that promise and brought his own Son and the axe did not stop this time. He sacrificed his own Son.”

I said, “Sheik, I just want you to hear this. Until you and I receive the Son God has provided, we’ll be offering our own sons and daughters on the battlefields of this world for many of the wrong reasons.”
It was quiet. We walked out and the Archbishop just put his arm around me. As I was about to get into the SUV, the Sheik came over and he just patted me on my face. He kissed me on both sides. He was a strong man; he pulled me to him. He said, “You’re a good man. I hope I will see you again someday.” That’s all he said.

God’s provided his Son. And he wants us to see our own hearts. If we don’t recognize it, we will brandish a false sense of hubris that will only end up in self-destruction. A sovereign God, a near God, a God who discloses the heart, and lastly, a God who fashions you as you pray into the dream that He has in mind for you.

And yes, I forgot to mention. Azizi my friend, I will definetely pray for you. Not only your safety, but also your faith.

Living in a situation like this can easily cause many people to lose their faith. I hope you never lose your faith.

This is indeed a great lesson to us westerners with our fancy cars and houses and spoiled attitudes. We don't know how good we have it.

I didnt have to see the video to know whats happening between the muslims and Christians. I have friends who send
me streaming video when something like that happens.

If the adults on this site dont know about Sheriah law, you should read about it. Its important because the muslims
are trying to get Sheriah law advanced in the USA. God help all females if this happens. If anyone thinks things are
unfair for women in this country, if Sheriah law comes into effect, you can make a guess at what will happen to
women's rights.

And everyone should read what the goal of the muslims is for the world. Dont take my word for it, just use google
search and you will be shocked beyond words.

Brother Azizi:
Are you at liberty to discuss the real history of the Saudi Royal Family and the radical apostate form of "Islam" (which is indeed a false religion) we in the "Christian" west have been engaging with in the farce scripted for us called "The Clash of Civilizations"? Your insights would be very helpful to the Christian Communities worldwide.

The Dönmeh: The Middle East’s Most Whispered Secret (Part II)

hat will surprise those who may already be surprised about the Dönmeh connection to Turkey, is the Dönmeh connection to the House of Saud in Saudi Arabia.

An Iraqi Mukhabarat (General Military Intelligence Directorate) Top Secret report, “The Emergence of Wahhabism and its Historical Roots,” dated September 2002 and released on March 13, 2008, by the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency in translated English form, points to the Dönmeh roots of the founder of the Saudi Wahhabi sect of Islam, Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab. Much of the information is gleaned from the memoirs of a “Mr. Humfer,” (as spelled in the DIA report, “Mr. Hempher” as spelled the historical record) a British spy who used the name “Mohammad,” claimed to be an Azeri who spoke Turkish, Persian, and Arabic and who made contact with Wahhab in the mid-18th century with a view of creating a sect of Islam that would eventually bring about an Arab revolt against the Ottomans and pave the way for the introduction of a Jewish state in Palestine. Humfer’s memoirs are recounted by the Ottoman writer and admiral Ayyub Sabri Pasha in his 1888 work, “The Beginning and Spreading of Wahhabism.”

In his book, The Dönmeh Jews, D. Mustafa Turan writes that Wahhab’s grandfather, Tjen Sulayman, was actually Tjen Shulman, a member of the Jewish community of Basra, Iraq. The Iraqi intelligence report also states that in his book, The Dönmeh Jews and the Origin of the Saudi Wahhabis, Rifat Salim Kabar reveals that Shulman eventually settled in the Hejaz, in the village of al-Ayniyah what is now Saudi Arabia, where his grandson founded the Wahhabi sect of Islam. The Iraqi intelligence report states that Shulman had been banished from Damascus, Cairo, and Mecca for his “quackery.” In the village, Shulman sired Abdul Wahhab. Abdel Wahhab’s son, Muhammad, founded modern Wahhabism.

The Iraqi report also makes some astounding claims about the Saud family. It cites Abdul Wahhab Ibrahim al-Shammari’s book, The Wahhabi Movement: The Truth and Roots, which states that King Abdul Aziz Ibn Saud, the first Kingdom of Saudi Arabia monarch, was descended from Mordechai bin Ibrahim bin Moishe, a Jewish merchant also from Basra. In Nejd, Moishe joined the Aniza tribe and changed his name to Markhan bin Ibrahim bin Musa. Eventually, Mordechai married off his son, Jack Dan, who became Al-Qarn, to a woman from the Anzah tribe of the Nejd. From this union, the future Saud family was born.

The Kingdom and the Towers
Was there a foreign government behind the 9/11 attacks? A decade later, Americans still haven’t been given the whole story, while a key 28-page section of Congress’s Joint Inquiry report remains censored. Gathering years of leaks and leads, in an adaptation from their new book, Anthony Summers and Robbyn Swan examine the connections between Saudi Arabia and the hijackers (15 of whom were Saudi), the Bush White House’s decision to ignore or bury evidence, and the frustration of lead investigators—including 9/11-commission staffers, counterterrorism officials, and senators on both sides of the aisle.

Obaid quotes a former senior Pakistani civil servant saying that in Afghanistan "the US provided the weapons and the know-how, the Saudis provided the funds, and we provided the training camps for the Islamic Legions in the early 1980s and then for the Taliban."

The Saudis and the US chose the Taliban, Obaid says, with the belief that they would be able to take over Afghanistan. But it was the Taliban's supreme commander who would later demand "a removal of all US troops from Saudi Arabia". Ominously, Obaid adds, "this is the same call made by Wahhabi fundamentalists in the Kingdom before the Riyadh and Dhahran bombings. And if Mr bin Laden actually was behind these attacks, there is even more reason to fear Taliban-inspired terrorism."

Obaid goes on: "According to a high-ranking official in the [Saudi] ministry of justice, Sheikh Mohamed bin Jubier [current chairman of the Saudi Consultative Council], who has been called the 'exporter' of the Wahhabi creed in the Muslim world, was a strong advocate of aiding the Taliban."

someone sent me a streaming video of a muslim woman who was to be whipped. Men encircled her, shouting
and laughing, making cruel jests because she tried to cover herself, while the man with the whip, and folks
that was a big whip, kept circling her so he could hit her where she was most tender. What did she do to
deserve this punishment? Does it matter? Some Christians think that this sort of punishment, and worse.
should be used in the USA. I'm not sure they realize that Shereah Law came from Mohammud who was the
so-called prophet of Allah, so what these people are saying is they want to follow the Quran. perhaps they
should move to the middle-east and become muslims.
