This is an issue that i've always had difficult dealing with. When i'm confronted with a situation when i'm clearly being "abused" i feel really bad having to point out that the person is acting irresponsibly and recklessly, I feel like i'm somehow forcing them to be good. I can stand a lot really but this is the 4th time the story is repeating (with dentists), it's a real unpleasant situation so i'd ike to get some encouragement from a Christian point of view reading your experiences in situations like that.
by the way , i went to the chat rooms to ask for help and i was ignored , only one girl sent me a private message. I don't mean to sound like woe is me but i think also about other people that might be ignored when needing to be listened. We are to build one another.

Not knowing the whole situation, all I can say is that, if this person is doing something inappropriate, or makes you feel uncomfortable, tell them to quit. If they are doing something against the law, report them. If they are ignoring you, let them know.

I hope this helps

If you have a problem telling people who are mistreating that their behavior is wrong, i think you have a problem. There is nothing wrong in sticking up for yourself. Your goal in dealing with these people is not to change who they are. Its to teach them the right way to treat you. I recommend a book Boundaries by Townsend/Cloud, Christian psychologists.

Also, as far as the chats go, its pretty common to hear of people not being answered. As long as i've used this site i've heard that complaint.

I'm afraid I need you to expand on this. Where/why are you having trouble drawing the line between being assertive/demanding? What situations have come to pass that have raised this question?

Is that the book which identifies two groups that violate our rights as "boundary benders" and "boundary breakers"?

.

Just show them you are a person of integrity and put the foot down if you think they have passed the line of disrespecting you. As for feeling if you are forcing them to be good, maybe that is just your own feeling? Maybe that's not what they think at all? In any case, you would understand it is not possible to push someone to be "good", and it should not be done either. Here it seems more like keeping someone's bad behaviour off bay than moralising over it. My two cents.

Maybe I'm way off but it sounds to me like you are being inappropriately touched. You should report this to someone because they may be doing this to others also who are too afraid to do anything about it. Did u ask them politely to please stop what they are doing? Maybe acknowledging their behavior will be enough to stop them, but if not, report it to the police. I hope that they have laws against it in your country like they do in mine. God bless.
