Being fawned over by someone can be hazard!
Be careful with encomiums, chiefly if these eulogies come from the members of religion system. This can embed in us a fear of telling off those ones that encroach against the sound doctrine of Jesus Christ. After all, who desires to be disparaged by those who look up to them?
The Holy Scripture is clear: the only One who is laudable is Jesus Christ (Revelation 7.12). See the peril of imparting lauds or receive them:

So, do you long for being extolled? Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you in due time (1Peter 5.6). Have a day fraught of opportunities for you to lose your life for loving of Christ. After all:
