Being obdurate against the evilness or humiliating under what is acceptable to Jesus?
• “The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness.” (Pro 10:32).
I already watched many movies about Revelation. In most of them we see a group of Christians trying to sabotage the plans of the antichrist. What most of the Christ’s followers doesn’t know is that, doing this, they are struggling against the own Christ:
• “And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. *For God* hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.” (Rev 17:17).
If it was able to prevail against the antichrist before the right time, all the Holy Scripture would fall by ground. There are moments that Christ, for some reason, allows the enemies prevail on us:
• “And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” (Rev 13.7)
Of course, this will be for a short time (Rev 17:12). Nonetheless, instead of meddling with them that are given to change, we need to fear the LORD and the high powers (Pro 24:21):
• “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.” (Rom 13:1,2).
Instead of trying to surmount the injustice following the frowardness averred by the wicked, let’s heard from Christ and His emissaries what is acceptable before His eyes. Many times, it is from a little rout that will come about a power victory.
Have a grandiose day, coping with the opportunities of growing and strengthening that Jesus imparted to you (which many people calls “problem”), procuring of Him His word which will be like a sword to quell our enemies (at the right time, of course – Galatians 6:9).
