Yes! God's salvation is different from our human concepts. His way is deliverance from sin. We think that everything would be alright if sins were uprooted from our being. But God's salvation is not the eradication of sins. He does not pull out our sins like rooted trees.
Many of us think that
perfection is attained as soon as one has all sins repressed. But our person is one that loves to sin. It does not even want to suppress sin. Even when it tries grudgingly, there is no lasting result. The way of God is not a subjugation of sin, nor is it a mortification of the body. It is an exchange of person. The old man that was attached to sin is removed, and a new life that abhors sin is put in it's place. When temptation comes, the new life naturally shuns it. In this way, the body loses it's function in regard to performing sins.
God's salvation is entirely different from the concepts of other religions. God does not deal with sin, nor does He touch the body. All He takes care of is the old man within. This old man is just our life. When the old man is put to death, it means the old life is terminated, and a new life is put in place. The two ends, sin and the body, are left untouched, but the middle agent is taken away. Sin can no longer communicate with the body.
The man that is constituted with this new life is called the new man in the Bible. When temptation comes again, the new man reacts very differently from the old one. He no longer hearkens to those lures. He never seconds the motion of sin, and He never actuates the body to commit evil. The new man is diametrically opposed to sin. He is deaf to the suggestions of sin.
There is no other way for God to take but to pronounce death for this life. It's last breath has to be taken from it. It must be utterly terminated. When this happens sin will lose it's partner forever.
This victory over sin is absolute and begins the second we confess our sins and ask God to live in our hearts thru the Holy Spirit. Yet It is a process. Do mature christians make mistakes and sin along the way? sure it probably will happen. Does it have to? NO! but it most probably will. And God's grace covers this in His blood. But God wants us to finish His work in us. eventually, then, can we become sinless? ABSOLUTELY YES! For God Has called us to be more than conquerers thru being in His perfection- A NEW MAN! It is not us. But God who has made us able to be free from sin. Our job is not to earn anything....Simply apply ourselves to staying seated in things already accomplished in Christ!

1.
If say you are sinless, you have just committed the sin of lying.

2.
If you say you are NOT sinless... then you are telling OTHERS to live sinlessly while YOU cannot even live sinlessly. You have committed the sin of hypocrisy.

If you want to tell everyone they can be perfectly sinless before God, then you have to pick #1 or #2. You can be a liar, or you can be a hypocrite. You have to pick one.

I suggest you consider some adjustments to your theology, so that you may be neither a liar, nor a hypocrite.

God Bless,
Max

I never said I was sinless..I in fact said I was unable to ever be in control of my sins. For in Adam I was a slave to the spirit of the Carnal Heart. And for the rest of my life I can never concur sin. But God can and He has.If He hasn't concurred sin what would be the point of needing Him? The idea that you can live 60% His direction and make it to Heaven is a lie and comes from the rule of laws. God said that won't get you into Heaven. The only way to Heaven is thru Christ. And if we are in Christ we are a NEW MAN! You argue the repair of the Old man. I am In agreement with you on that mans condition to sin. But I live in the New Man thru Christ. And in this New Man We are more than conquerers. If I live with God's spirit running my ship ...your criticism now applies to His character and Purity and authority. Do you challenge His ability to be sin free? This is the foundation of the new me. And , as I mentioned, we Humans are a funny lot aren"t we? Even tho it is possible to remain in God's provisions and righteousness we sometimes stumble and rebel. And, as I mentioned, That is also covered in His grace. Where we deserve His punishment He forgives. And runs to us to cloak us with His love...Mercy..and.Forgiveness..Yet the question here is ...Is it possible to remain in Christ's purity? SINLESS?
again I say, ABSOLUTELY YES! I need not look again at my theology. My Old nature would want to say to you.."See!..I am right and you are wrong!" But I ,and this is important..HONESTLY...don't feel that way. God's new me has a different heart for you as well it is gracefully accepting your position. I don't agree. But it won't be the last time life will have a differing opinion.
I will not point the finger at you ...but I will ask if you would Pray about it! God's voice should be the same to you as me if we serve the same God right? God Bless you. And May God lead both of us to the answers He has provided us thru His word.

It is not that God gives you victory by yourself. He gives you victory by your being joined in spirit to the Victor. "Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world" 1 John 4:4. Then are we going to cower and tremble before the enemy, when we are joined to the Conquerer, joined to the victor- joined in one Spirit?

But you do not know of that "joining" until you come to Calvary, and stand steadily on the fact of the old Adam-life crucified with Christ, because the "old-life" get's in the way, and is liable to do some "fighting" which is of no avail against the Foe, but rather gives him ground and power over you. Therefore the old Adam-life MUST be reckoned CRUCIFIED, because it is material for Satan, and if the old life is not kept in the position of death EVERY MOMENT,it is the material Satan puts his "Fiery darts" in. These darts have a bit of fire from the pit..James 3:6. At their tip, and when they get into you they burn and blaze, and make you "blaze".

Whenever you see a "blaze" in a Christian you may know where it comes from. It is from the old life.

There must not be any blaze in you, which you call ...." Righteous Indignation!" The Calvary deliverance is needed, and the Lamb-spirit of Calvary.
