The question is in Post# 335.If HE initially healed the man/woman.... what else would one be looking to or looking for?
be careful of what you began in
if whet you began in remains in you, you too will remain in both the father and the son
and this is what he promised us
even eternal life
the question is, what did we begin in?
GOD said to pay careful attention to the FOUNDATION
HE said it in Haggai 2....Ezra 3....and Zechariah 4
tely nothing needs to be added to THE FOUNDATION
We?? We are to build on it. Needs to be the right foundation, then comes the building.
Does the question rub you the wrong way? Does it apply to you? Is it not a fair question?
Can those who claim physical supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit be challenged?

There is no question in 1st John 2:24. It is a statement. No
that is not the question being referred to in 1 John 2:24
You should already be able to discern by the statement in 1 John 2:24 those who are adding more than what is necessary that they have progressed above THE HEAD and are therefore not in THE HEADThere is no question in 1st John 2:24. It is a statement.
Do you have an answer to the question: Should someone who claims to have physical supernatural abilities from the Holy Spirit be challenged to prove their claim? In other words, should we accept the Mormon church apostles as from God because of their claims or should they be challenged. Mormons believe to challenge the claims is to show disbelief in God.

I am assuming you believe you have some god
given physical supernatural ability such as tongues or healing. This is what I mean be your spirit.
If you do has anyone ever challenged you to show evidence of past or present supernatural events. I would like to know, I have met some who claim these gifts but never produce any evidence even after years of maintaining these assertions. Is it proper to challenge these claims?

yes they can be challenged Just as Jesus was .Does the question rub you the wrong way? Does it apply to you? Is it not a fair question?

Okay...but are you saying "yes" or "no" to the question as written. The word physical as that which represents that seen with the eye makes the word supernatural (without beginning) to no effect. Experience is not the validation of things not seen, the spiritual
A prophet today…..One who declares the word (prophesying) of God called prophecy. It is sealed up till the end of time. What we had in part before the last book was written today we have the whole also called the perfect.
Apostle simply means one sent with no other meaning added. Moses was an old testament apostle as was Abel who Cain slew.
Prophecy the supernatural abilities of God is after mo man.. “Tongues” are a sign against those who reject “prophecy” .We are not to confuse the two. Both heard the words of Peter . One did not mix faith in what they did hear as a sign against them and those who did hear having mixied it with faith (the unseen)
The Mormons show their self as false prophets, false apostles , by using the Book of
Mormon…. their own source of false prophecy that they send out those false apostles with. They simply call that false prophecy another revelation of Christ. Therefore violating the law written at the closing and sealing up of the book of prophecy, the bible.
Okay...but are you saying "yes" or "no" to the question as written.
Mormons claim their prophets and apostles are performing the supernatural, should they be challenged?
Give me an example of how you would or have challenged the Mormon claims of supernatural abilities?Scripture challenges Mormons.
Galatians 1:[SUP]6 [/SUP]I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:[SUP]7 [/SUP]Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.[SUP]8 [/SUP]But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.[SUP]9 [/SUP]As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
Just as scripture challenges receiving the Holy Spirit separate from salvation with evidence of tongues when tongues are not to serve as a sign to saved believers for anything.
2 Thessalonians 2:[SUP]13 [/SUP]But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:[SUP] 14 [/SUP]Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.[SUP]15 [/SUP]Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
1 Corinthians 14:[SUP]20 [/SUP]Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.[SUP]21 [/SUP]In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord.[SUP]22 [/SUP]Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.
They are adding to THW FOUNDATION more than what is needed and have made that clear by their manmade additions , input, suggestions, notions, ideas and imaginings that they don't even understand THE FOUNDATUON which their feet should be firmly planted onOkay...but are you saying "yes" or "no" to the question as written.
Mormons claim their prophets and apostles are performing the supernatural, should they be challenged?
It seems people are dancing around giving a straight yes or no answer to this simple question. They are adding to THW FOUNDATION more than what is needed and have made that clear by their manmade additions , input, suggestions, notions, ideas and imaginings that they don't even understand THE FOUNDATUON which their feet should be firmly planted on
instead they added shifting sand between their feet and THE FOUNDATION
And it is this shifting sand which will cause their feet to fall
Are tongues not a physical supernatural gift of the Holy Spirit? If so, should those who claim to have this ability be challenged? Yes or No.Scripture challenges Mormons.

This is a very dangerous question.Mormons claim their prophets and apostles are performing the supernatural, should they be challenged?
