As singles we have had moments in which we are alone and we can enjoy that loneliness praying, praising God or doing something else that we like to do and its ok.

But we have been through moments too in which we feel the loneliness of not having a partner (i dont know if all of us or only some of us), I have listened to many ppl that talk of it as if we are walking through a desert, and i agree with that, and that may last little or a lot.

so what do you think is the best way to handle it ?

do you think that only singles go through this or married ppl is included?

I think too, that loneliness can be a feeling too and not only a situation, so, how can we encourage someone that is going through this if that person is apparently rounded by people?

I heard a married speaker say that there were times in his marrage that he felt very lonley.

When I struggled with feeling lonely the most it was best for me to seek God and read His word. The overwhelming amount of love that I felt from reading the scriptures really helped/helps my relationship and faith in God grow. Truly nobody knows what tomorrow holds, but with God we don't have to fear about being lonely. He is always with us.

I also find that along with seeking God, keeping busy in other ways is helpful. It's not good to get so busy that you are ignoring or running away from the feeling of loneliness, but it helps in not constantly thinking about being lonely. Visit with family and friends or even take part in church activities.

Prayer and meditation works but then you always have friends here that can help you when you do feel lonely. But yes I have found comfort in the Lord at times of extreme lonelyness

I have listened that too but it sounds very surprinsing because as a married we may think that they will never be alone but its not always truth.
