In a moment of creation,
Against time, gravity and war,
Two worlds combine.
Two people become one.
Success and victory,
Electrical volts of energy,
Speed, Fusion, Order and Unity,
Work together to make
A child.
Bones form,
Blood runs,
Ears hear
Skin weaves together,
Brain, Heart, Lungs, and the Cord of Life,
Fight to keep your baby alive.
Knowledge is realized,
The heart dies,
Logic takes over,
Emotion fades.
A blink in time,
A lifetime of consequences.
It’s your prerogative,
It’s your opinion,
It’s your belief,
It’s your choice.
But what’s your baby’s choice?
Do you own him or her?
Did you consciously make him or her?
Did you create their being and start their personality?
Undying Love,
Unending Trust,
Unfailing Adoration,
Eternal Bond,
Ripped to pieces.
The love is betrayed,
The trust is broken,
The adoration is condemned,
The bond torn,
All at your hands.
Because it was your prerogative,
Because it was your opinion,
Because it was your belief,
Because it was your choice.
Your baby feels a tremendous force,
Pulling it from its home.
A leg is ripped off,
A hand, an arm.
A chest is shredded.
Finally the head is expelled from your body,
After the infant opens its mouth,
In its final scream.
Against time, gravity and war,
Two worlds combine.
Two people become one.
