Beware of not hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit (Hebrews 3.7-11):
Here three classes of people are quoted:
The simple ones love simplicity. For the sake of this, they believe every word (Proverbs 14.15) and thus, they don’t foresee the evil, but pass on and are punished (Proverbs 22.3). They hear everything, less what they need to hear.
The scorners delight in mocking and, in virtue of this, they never take the Creator’s word seriously. They keep at bay everyone who tries to put in abeyance every event that make them relish. They hear only what makes them laugh (they ignore Ecclesiastes 2.2; 7.3,6).
The fools hate ken and, for this, they disparage, scathe and utter obloquies against those who try to arise them to what is good and sound. They enjoy to hear only what it is convenient to them
What this three classes of people have in common? They don’t like of the Light and His words (John 8.12; 9.5), because their works are bad (John 3.19-21).
So, if you pine for incredible days, hear what people say to you, even if this isn’t exactly what you look forward to hearing, don’t duck out from this person, nor stave off your decision for tomorrow. Analise what the person said to you and, if this is right, own this and abide by this teaching.
