Well now, that is just messed up.

Meanwhile Satan continues to have a field day, destroying the old church with immense glee and fervour. I particularly love the way Judas Trudeau passes the buck, instead of honouring the wishes of those affected. I agree with the native people of Canada, the next Canada day should be a national day of mourning.

Every single bit of this, from the rise of false churches to the fall of the old one was predicted in Fatima in the early 1900's. The great warning is on it's way. Repent and stay faithful everyone!

Let me comment on this because it appears that there is some confusion, that is, to call that movement "New Church" or even associated with the works of Swedenborg, that is somewhat similar to calling the Inquisition a true part of that authentic Christian theology, which is founded on the teachings of love and charity of the Word. So, while that movement is indeed claiming to have some relation to the works of Swedenborg, it denies them in the essentials, for instance, denying the foundations of the marriage between one man and one wife, which is the sacred repository of the christian religion, and this despite all the teachings about marriage in the work of Swedenborg on the Delights of Wisdom concerning the Conjugial Love.

As to the teaching above, I will not comment on whether they are part of that movement, or not, but I would rather try to present by the quotations from the works itself, so that it may be seen what the works of Swedenborg speak about. Hopefully you would agree that it is ok to do that because if someone makes some erroneous claims, false rumours, about some teachings, and thus invalidating someone's public reputation, it is a christian duty to refer to the accurate reformation, to restore the justice.

It is not quite accurate if seen outside of the context, for the whole context speaks that love and wisdom are completely one, so love, with regard to God, cannot be thought apart of wisdom, and wisdom apart from love. In the following but speaking about Jehovah God, Jehohav God is considered as one with the Lord Jesus Christ. But of these in the appropriate section.

"41. (4) Love and Wisdom in God make one. Every wise man in the church knows that every good of love and charity is from God, also every truth of wisdom and faith; and human reason is able to see this when it knows that the origin of love and wisdom is the sun of the spiritual world, in the midst of which is Jehovah God, or what is the same thing, that they are from Jehovah God through the sun which is round about Him; for the heat that goes forth from that sun is in its essence love, and the light that goes forth from it is in its essence wisdom. It is therefore as plain as the open day that in that origin love and wisdom are one, consequently are one in God, from whom that sun has its origin. This contains some inaccuracies, both as to the essence, and as to the wording.

First. There is a Holy Trinity, though it is understood not as distinct God-Persons, which are to be called one God according to the Athanasian Creed, but as the Divine Attributes of one Divine God and Man, or the Divine Person. Thus, even the traditional creed is considered as true, if by the ancient term person the attribute is understood.

"The Divine Trinity in one Person is to be understood as soul, body, and proceeding operation, which together constitute one essence, for the one is from the other, and therefore the one belongs to the other. In the same way there is a trinity in each man, which taken together constitutes one person, to wit, the soul, the body, and the operation that goes forth. But in man this trinity is finite, because man is only an organ of life; whereas in the Lord the Trinity is infinite and thus Divine, because the Lord is life itself even in respect to the Human, as He Himself teaches in John 5:26; 14:6; and also elsewhere." (Nine Questions).

"The Most Holy Trinity in one Person is to be apprehended as the Divine Esse, the Divine Human, and the Divine proceeding; thus as soul, body, and derivative power [virtus] and operation, precisely as given in the Memorable Relation inserted in the work entitled The True Christian Religion, n. 188. Second. It was possible to understand the nature of God before the Lord's Coming, but only through the representative types:
"... the representative Human in which Jehovah presented Himself in the world before His actual coming was not Powerful enough to enlighten men spiritually; therefore enlightenment was brought about by means of types and figures alone."

Thus it was said in John: "And the Father who sent me, He hath testified of me; neither his voice at any time have ye heard, nor his form have ye seen". And this was said despite all appearances in some places in the Old Testament, that the voice was heard and the forms was seen.

From the passages above it is seen, that the Divine and the Divien Human and the Divine Proceeding are one, and so they are not "but multiple consciousness, but they are the one consciousness, if we are, of course, wish to use this very imperfect and vague modern term.

Here is what is implied by the redemption in its connection with taking away of the sins:

"To take away sins means the same as to redeem man, and to save him; for the Lord came into the world to render salvation possible to man. Without His advent no mortal could have been reformed and regenerated, and so saved. But this became possible after the Lord had deprived the devil (that is, hell) of all his power; and had glorified His Human, that is, had united it to the Divine of His Father. If these things had not been done, no man would have been capable of permanently receiving any Divine truth, still less any Divine good; for the devil, whose power was previously the stronger, would have plucked it out of his heart.
[2] From what has been said it is evident that the Lord did not take away sins by the passion of the cross; but that He takes them away, that is, removes them, in those who believe in Him by living according to His commandments; as He also teaches in Matthew:
Think not that I am come to loosen the law and the prophets. Whosoever shall loosen the least of these commandments, and shall teach men so, shall be called the least in the kingdom of the heavens; but whosoever shall do and teach them shall be called great in the kingdom of the heavens (Matt. 5:17, 19).
[3] Who cannot see from reason alone, provided he is in some enlightenment, that sins cannot be taken away from a man except by actual repentance, which consists in his seeing his sins, imploring the Lord's help, and desisting from them? To see, believe, and teach otherwise, is not from the Word, nor from sound reason, but from cupidity and a depraved will, which are proper to man, and from this comes the debasement of his intelligence." (Doctrine of the Lord)

The Lord did not just come to provide an example, there were more important issues:

"579. III. SINCE ALL HAVE BEEN REDEEMED, ALL MAY BE REGENERATED EACH ACCORDING TO HIS STATE.
That this may be understood, something must be premised respecting redemption. The Lord came into the world chiefly for these two purposes, to remove hell from angel and from man, and to glorify His Human. For before the Lord's coming hell had grown up so far as even to infest the angels of heaven, and also, by interposing itself between heaven and the world, to intercept the Lord's communication with men on earth, so that no Divine truth and good could pass from the Lord to men. Consequently a total damnation threatened the whole human race, and the angels of heaven could not have long continued to exist in their integrity. [2] And thus, in order that hell might be cleared away, and this impending damnation be thereby removed, the Lord came into the world, and dislodged hell, subjugated it, and thus opened heaven; so that He could henceforth be present with men on earth, and save those who live according to His commandments, and consequently could regenerate and save them, for those who are regenerated are saved. This is how it is to be understood, that, since all have been redeemed they may be regenerated, and because regeneration and salvation make one, all may be saved. So the teaching of the church, that without the Lord's coming no man could have been saved, is to be understood in this way, that without the Lord's coming no one could have been regenerated. [3] In respect to the other purpose for which the Lord came into the world, namely, to glorify His Human, this was because He thereby became the Redeemer, Regenerator and Savior forever.
