Many debates over the alleged existence of contradictions within the Bible have been spoken and yelled through the years, but what really is at the root. What, or Who, could be behind the seeming ambiguities that are pointed at as allegedly being contradictions in the minds of the questioners?
Jesus spoke most directly in Matthew 11:25–27 and Matthew 13:34–35 about things hidden away from the seeming "wise" and revealed to children. Additionally, parables that served similar doors of concealments from those who lack discernment and prayerful insights for things revealed by Holy Spirit.
So, within scripture there is intentional ambiguities, thus putting forth what some suppose to be "contradictions," presented as intentional designs by Holy Spirit to provide sufficient clarity for the spiritually informed believer and sufficient ambiguity to mask realities from the intentionally unbelieving who lack trust in the fidelity and integrity of God's word. These seeming contradictions heighten discernment toward the heart's intent of those who aren't at all interested in searching for truth, as the word answers people "according to the idols of their heart" (Ezekiel 14).
What have you encountered among the crowd of doubters and unbelievers who believe in the existent contradictions that simply aren't there?
