I use Bible Hub. It is straightforward and has many Bible versions. It's been unstable recently, or so I thought. I use anti tracking software, "Ghostery". If I pause it, Bible Hub starts working properly. I've seen many complaints about Bible Hub crashing. Perhaps I've discovered the reason.

Most bible software has warnings when you download, like "if you live in a country where they persecute Christians and you use this, they might be able to track you if you do an active download" stuff.

Sounds like maybe Bible hub was made by the enemy that is actually trying to track you.

I've been using it for years. It's not malicious. It used to be freeware, but they've changed their model. They now have ads.

Ah, that does require being online. They have to know where you are to more effectively target ads. Crashing though... It shouldn't crash when it fails to connect. That sounds like a programmer oversight, something that should be fixed by a flood of user complains and low ratings in the app store.

I've been using AndBible for years with no problem. Simplistic in the extreme, but functional within its limitations.

Bible Hub appears to be fixed now. I did not realise how much I use it until it quit.

I use e-Sword. Many versions and references are available. It is very easy to use.

I love Bible Hub. I've never had any trouble until about a week ago it wouldn't open in Chrome or Edge, but it did in Firefox. It's working fine now though.
