In Ezekiel it's prophesied that the Nile river will dry up and become desolate for 40 years....well the Nile River hasn't dried up yet and until it does we have to wait the 40 years for the prophecy to be for filled until Christ s return...is this correct? I hope not....
 
Umm! Wrong forum? This is a BDF discussion, I would think.

It always helps me if people put the exact Scripture with the reference.

My only comment is that this could well be metaphorical. I just watched a National Geographic special on the Nile, and its drainage basin, and unless the world gets turned upside down in ways we cannot imagine, I don't see the Nile going dry on the physical level.
 
I think scripture says otherwise...I'll post this in the bible discussion forum, thanks...

The two witnesses symbolize the Law and the Prophets. Moses and Elijah represent each of them. They also represent aspects of Christs ministry. Thats why they appeared with him at the transfiguration
