I'm leading my first Bible Study in a couple weeks and I need lots of prayer. It's an international Bible with mostly Chinese graduates. However, they are exploring Christianity. I really need God's help for this, so I don't try to do anything on my own.
 
praying for the LORD to guide your heart and mind. In Yeshua's Holy name amen.
 
Praying in Jesus for all His guidence and glory as you teach this class! :)

Lord I open Cari99's mouth to speak the words you give her, I open the ears and hearts of her students to hear and understand her and Your words to them, and I bind and silence anything of the darkness that tries to interfere with that. In Jesus Name.

I will gladly pray for you, and for your students.
I must admit to curiosity as to why your Chinese students (who are not saved) are attending a Bible study. I must infer it's due to God's amazing grace. :)

Abba, thank You! You are just astonishing in Your goodness. Thank You for Your child, our sister Cari, who seeks You.
Lord, our mighty Father, fill Cari's heart and mind with exactly what You want spoken.
Please prepare the hearts of her listeners to receive the Truth...to receive Your Son.
May nothing be done by human strength, or by human power, but by Your Spirit.
Thank You for the humble heart You've given your precious daughter Cari; thank You that she knows to look only to You. ♥
I ask that everything said and done in this study will bring You glory, in Jesus' mighty Name, amen!

Thank you very much for your prayers! I'm starting to have fears and doubts since I have never lead a Bible Study before. phychomom, these Chinese graduate students are coming here (Virginia Tech) to continue their studies and, in some cases, they just have nothing else to do. I need God to give them an earnest desire to continue pursuing knowledge of Him and not to quit this Bible Study or anything. Some of them have never even heard of Christianity. However, I have seen several get saved during my time here and I have heard some amazing testimonies. God is certainly at work in the Chinese.

I understand you're nervous, honey; I surely would be! But the God Who called you to this (in simply_me_bekah's great words) has got this. Your heart of obedient willingness and humility+His strength=His words shining through you. I really, really believe that.

If any drop the study...I pray you won't become disheartened, or think it's anything you did. As much as we pray for them beforehand, only God knows which hearts are ready soil for the gospel. Perhaps a seed is planted that God will make grow another time, right? :)
I'll keep you, and them, in prayer. I'd say 'good luck', but we know luck's irrelevant.
So, I'll say Good God. ♥ And bless you in Jesus.
