Methuselah Son of Jared? was my guess, but is wrong. Never heard of the right answer. See if anyone just knows it first.

Isa 8:1
Moreover the LORD said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man's pen concerning Mahershalalhashbaz.
Isa 8:2
And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.
Isa 8:3
And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the LORD to me, Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz.

Mahershalalhashbaz, the son of Isaiah?

No, not correct.😄 Methuselah was the oldest person in the bible.
Let's see if someone will get it right.

I am not sure how this works, but I think that I am supposed to ask the next trivia question, so here it comes.

This idiom means to narrowly succeed in doing something or to barely escape from a bad situation.

What is the idiom, and who spoke it in the Bible?

The problem is, these days you can Google anything...

The only way to have a good Bible trivia challenge would be in real time, with timed answers to not allow people time to Google it up.

But this is still good for hearing obscure facts about the Bible, so let's roll with it.

The phrase is by the skin of your teeth. I don't remember who said it, but I remember seeing it in the Bible and marveling that the saying went back that far.

Researching is also part of achieving your bible study goal. As long as you are on track and not get carried away. 😄
