It’s an image of God reaching out to us with his arm Christ is like the right hand of God reaching to us and in other places he is the arm of the lord reaching To us
“Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. There’s a ton of prophecy regarding the arm of the lord Jesus Christ nd the right hand of God Jesus Christ our high priest
the reason I left these two examples is because those new testsment verses are springing forth from those old testament prophecies
in prophecy Jesus has many reference titles the arm Of the lord , the branch of righteousness , the good shepherd , the gate of righteousness , the son , the everlasting father , the mighty God , several more but then In the gospel we find out it’s talking about Jesus like this

literally everything in the gospel is found in the prophets foretelling about Jesus and all he would be for us he is Understood in those scriptures to be as if God is teaching into this world with his hand to save us from the fires to come
one with God being himself God manifest in the flesh which is how God reached out to us to save us from the world
Jesus is god bekng manifest towards us to us as if he’s reached out to us and called us to take hold of his hand a father reaching out to his children
