If I remember correctly, the king of Sodom was mentioned as far back as Genesis 14. There are many references on the subject including the one I cited above. We know that it's not a temptation common to man. I do think that there are multiple reasons for it. There are many predatory homos who seek to defile the most innocent. The infamous Kinsey research is what the psycho-logical and psychiatric association use as their main reference manual, their "bible" for treating this "disorder.". The author, Alfred Kinsey was a despicable homosexual and even a worse reprobate than Freud. He hired queer pedos to conduct his deranged fantasies and called it scientific research.
The psychiatric professions offer nothing to humanity in my opinion, other than to identify and categorize 17 defense mechanisms.
That said, my personal beliefs are that there are multiple factors that can possibly contribute to same sex attraction.
1. First and foremost is the rejection of God.

2. Molestation - The example given in the whiskey commercial above is often where children are provided this idea of "gender confusion" that they talk about. The ad is not reality. It's the fantasy of the whiskey company CEO and the queer advertiser.
Children don't normally get confused about such things as to whether or not they are a girl or a boy. There's a BIG difference between a "Tom boy" who likes to play sports with her brothers and someone like Ellen Degenerate.
3. Hormonal disruptors.
There are good studies in toxicology that show major abnormalities from environmental chemical exposures.
It starts in utero. Mother's are prescribed harmful drugs that affect their babies. Then they are sometimes encouraged to feed their babies soy formula. Even the plastic bottles leech chemicals. Heating the bottles makes it that much worse.
All of these and more can influence hormonal expression, but the Word of God can keep people from becoming homosexually attracted and sinning in such destructive ways. In fact if children are protected from the bad guys, and take heed of THIS MESSAGE, the parents should have no problems like that.

Did you know that the councillors who certify children for surgical mutilation are in fact morally and psychologically depraved? The same goes for the surgeons, and hospital boards, administrators and parents.
The Bible was written by holy men of old as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. He is the Divine Author and is holy. He knew about this cultural depravity long before it happened. He addressed it too. I'm not down on you for not knowing. If you attend a church, it's likely that your pastor does not know or does not choose to teach about these subjects. What we are left with is the latest fad promoted by the media. That changes from year to year. The Word of God is settled forever.
This makes no sense. How can you say that "parents love their children. strangers do not"? Do you think that loving children is restricted to their biological parents? What about other family members (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, teachers, coaches, and others)? Don't you think that they can love children?
"Strangers don't care if you ruin your life - irreversibly - by mutilating your own God-given body parts, a decision you may regret forever, and about which you can never ever do anything about after you once did it" is also nonsensical. Of course strangers can and do care about others. You are a perfect example of a stranger who cares.
Finally, you are being self-contradictory. After the above statement, you write "even if you do attempt to change your genitals, you won't change who you really are, even genetically." So which is it? Do you make a permanent change or do you not? Is a person changed after the surgery or are they the same?
I disagree entirely with your post. Lizzie (not Lissie) is both a Christian and compassionate. Your judgement of her says more about you than it does about her.

I think we might consider Left wing people will join Christian communities in order to inject radical points of view that conflict with the Bible and Christian morality.
