Prescription drugs today kill more people than car wrecks. every school shooting the shooter was either on mental illness drugs or recently coming off them. in the UK parents get money from the government if they put their kids on them. yet we never hear of this stuff on the mainstream news outlets.

monsanto and all the rest of the bio tech giants are pretty bad. but if you read about the things they do in the really poor places such as India, Africa, latin america and such, you can see far worse. they have destroyed agriculture in india and from what i read every 30 min an indian farmer commits suicide. if you kill yourself your debt dies with you and does not get passed down to your family. why is it the poor are always the ones that have to suffer the hardest.

All these things that are going on are not unexpected, The Father is well able to protect and preserve His people, our place however is to educate ourselves and not be in bondage to ignorance, every illness and disease can be treated safely and effectively with the things the Father created for this purpose, not man, mans medicine (for the most part) addresses the symptom, in contrast what the Father made addresses cause, we as believers need to understand that the Father wants us healthy and effective in this battle for souls, and expects each to respond to and live out what He has shown us in His word, (Rom. 12:1) no medicine will work anyway unless the father allows it.... the natural herbs and essential oils He created are for the use of man, however (like most everything else) man has perverted this into a business and lets face it there's no money to be made with healthy people, many times people suffer and die needlessly because they trust man more then they trust God, they blindly do whatever the doctors say, (not that all Doctors are bad) but we must be responsible for our own health and not depend on the government or anyone else to, "My people perish for lack of knowledge" this is true more today then ever, many are poisoning themselves and don't know it or don't care.... there will be a day of reckoning and each will give an answer for how and why they abused their own temple, we need not concern ourselves with those who make untold billions from the suffering of their fellow man, but rather concern ourselves the care of our own bodies with wisdom and temperance we are to be free from EVERY bondage and not be sickly and ineffective but rather to be more then victorious in His strength. have you kept up with natural drugs and europe? the eu has passed legislation to outlaw them.
another interesting thing, our bodies have cancer fighting antibodies but they only work when combined with natural food, predominantly fruit. when you factor in pesticides, preservatives and any other synthetic chemicals, it neutralizes the enzymes in the fruit that act with the cancer fighting agents in our bodies.

The whole trend goes in a direction where a way will finally be found to vaccinate bodies so that these bodies will not allow the inclination towards spiritual ideas to develop and all their lives people will believe only in the physical world they perceive with the senses. Out of impulses which the medical profession gained from presumption ” oh, I beg your pardon, from the consumption they themselves suffered ” people are now vaccinated against consumption, and in the same way they will be vaccinated against any inclination towards spirituality.

As a student in the Pharmacy field I feel obligated to defend my field. Pharmacy is an inherently good practice, done by good people. While it's true that any time you use chemicals to interact with the human body there is danger, there is little to no evidence to suggest that the pharmaceutical companies are in anyway responsible for claims made in this post.

you say here that there is a danger when using these prescription drugs, i would assume this risk would increase in young children being as their minds are still in the development stage. i would also assume that these drugs would only be used as a last resort after all other options have failed.
in the US the percent of kids on these drugs ranges from 10 - 20 percent depending on what study you look at. its also estimated around 10 million kids in the US are on these drugs. the studies vary but one thing they all agree on, these numbers are increasing every year, 20 yrs back less than 5 percent and we can see how much more it is today.

i saw my nephew go through this. he was a normal kid then started having some issues at school, nothing serious but none the less his parents took him to a doctor, they got him on drugs, about a year later the kids at school reported that he kept talking about killing himself but luckily he didnt do it. he steadily got worse. now he is 20, lives at home, has few friends, never had a girlfriend and never leaves the house. i think of him often, what kind of man would he be today had his parents never seen that doctor.

You are right jaybird88, don't listen to lordofthepancakes, I used to think like him but as a person in this field, I can honestly tell you its all about making money...there are cures for most disease that they won't release b/c its unprofitable instead they put you on maintenance medicines like bp, cholesterol etc to keep the money coming in. drugs aren't meant to help you, but to "manage symptoms" and most of the side effects are designed for a "slow kill/death" where your organs get poisoned with these unnatural toxins and slowly kills them...vaccines are the same thing with, sterilization and population control the main objectives....ever notice how once a pandemic starts within 3 weeks they magically have a cure (when in reality it takes months/years of research to develop vaccines/drugs) but magically they pop it out....hmm.....my advice don't take drugs if you can avoid them, they only make your health worse, try to use natural products if you can as much as you can....you have drug treat x but has side effect y so you need drug z to treat side effect y and so on....its just a money scheme....as for your nephew....he probably was a normal kid, but his parents probably over reacted and those meds are messing up his brain (lithium for example is neurotoxic and kills brain cells) same with the adhd methylphenidate drugs....they are drugging the youth "legally" so that they become dumbed down and easier to manipulate...most kids don't have adhd but just learn differently but since your not conforming....oh we cant have that...you get drugs....truly sad that a generation is getting stoned legally and nobody speaking out against it....

In addition, drug usage is a very broad term. Are the drugs supplements are modifiers? And were they prescribed by a doctor and pharmacist or were they simply an over the counter drug recommended by a doctor with no checking of possible effects. Also the reason why the number of unfortunate cases like your nephew is increasing is due to the fact that there are an increased number of drugs being brought to market. The numbers go up because these helpful, life saving drugs are more available to the public.

In addition to all this, most Pharmacists are required to take courses in ethics and moral philosophy to ensure that they will do what is best for their patients. Also, many of us are very religious. I myself am in a student chapter of the Catholic Medical Association and know many students in many similar organizations for many different Christian faiths.

You can take as many useless ethics classes about it you want, it doesn't change corporate greed....Sure there are good pharmacists out there just dispensing...but they are ill informed that they are nothing but legal drug pushers in the whole medical ponzi scheme.....
With all due respect you need to know the FDA is a bribed organization....whichever corp pays the more will get their drug fast tracked to market.... it's been going on for decades....

These aren't outrageous claims, they are even reported in NY times for crying out loud! Just because some people do not like the information because it may alter your worldview doesn't mean it's false...

I apologize I shouldn't call you a punk, you just came off the wrong way when you say "someone with a brain" that's kind of insulting... and sounds like you "know it all" maybe you don't mean it like that but that's what is sounds like... main thing I would encourage you to do is don't think everything they tell you in school is absolute truth because it isn't. You need to question more things, and research for yourself if it's true or not....you'll find this world is more complicated then they tell you with book knowledge....they teach a bunch of morals in school for the lower level worker guys but the people at the top are always corrupt, have no morals, and only think about money...

Also I would advise you to consider another career instead of pharmacy because there are many recent graduates in pharmacy in the US which do not have jobs b/c the jobs are going with so many retail jobs closing, and the employers like CVS do not want to hire full time b/c that includes benefits but only part time....or rotational pharmacy jobs...

Obamacare is crushing insurance companies which affects reimbursment for pharmacies...anyway that's another topic but mainly I would advise you to pick a field like nursing/other medical because pharmacy will be going down hill due to these factors of increased schools, obamacare, and a very bad economy in the US closing down retail shops like walmart (which the pharmacy goes also), kmart etc...

why has washington become a revolving door connecting drug execs to influential seats in congress.
why do we have pharmacies, hospitals, clinics popping up on ever corner, faster than ever yet the people are sicker than ever. the drug biz is one of the most lucrative industries in the US, you would think we would be the healthiest countries ever but we are not. a five year old could see that.
