Big Problem --- Lost Something that I NEED To fnd Tonight

In the summer, I had listed a pair of boots on Ebay for a friend and I had kept those boots in the trunk of my car. I was planning on trading my car in in August so, I emptied my car out and placed those boots in the garage so I could put them in my new car.

About a week went by then I got the new car. I went to grab the boots to put them in the trunk of my new car and they weren't where I put them, but I didn't panic then forgot about them, bad me. But, then my friend messaged me saying he was coming back home from being out of the country and wanted to pick the boots up so, today, I went crazy going through the house searching for those boots and can't find them anywhere and the guy wants to come by my house tomorrow to pick the boots up. I have no idea what to do.

I had prayed today for God to have those boots show up somewhere so I could give them back to him and everywhere I checked, no where to be found so I have absolutely no idea what to do or what to tell my friend.

He gave them to me to sell and they were brand new. Now I can't find them even though I didn't move them from where I had originally placed them and I'm doomed.

I don't know what to do or what to say to him since I have no idea where else to look.

What should i do?
 
Tell him the truth, and then pay him the amount you had listed them for, since he was going to sell them anyway. I doubt he will be angry.

ok. I will do exactly that. I was thinking that he would get mad so was afraid to tell him I couldn't find them. But yes he was selling them so just paying him for them sounds like a great idea. Thank you.
