What about a married couple who are strugging just to support themselves, living paycheck to paycheck, struggling just to keep the rent paid and put food on the table. Some of you need to stop being so judgemental. No wonder people dont like christians.

What you are suggesting is abslolutely ridiculous. To think that a man and wife should not have sex just to avoid concieving a child is absurd.

What I am suggesting is not to use birth control or anything else that wouldn't stop you from having a kid. You won't make a kid every time you do it. The times that you do have kids l, God has a purpose for them. Using birth control and stuff is stopping him from doing his will.

i agree, paul wrote that its is better for a man not to get married, but if he burns with passion let him.
i don't remeber reading if he is burning with passion to have kids.
Also He says that women should submit their bodies to their husbands, and husbands their bodies to their wives. Women aren't to hold back sex from their man, which might cause them to stumble.
Once again not having any bounds to procreation at all, but rather talking about sex for please.. So why is it wrong to use birth control? Planning sex around ovulation is just as effective as a condom, but since a condom is latex it's forbidden? doesn't make sense...
This not even breeching the obvious health benefits that the pill form of birth control can have for some women.

Definitely not. As Catholic teachers put it, using birth control is not being open to the act of procreation. This is more a statement about your attitude than God's abilities. We worship a God whose power extends beyond a couple layers of plastic.

So, if birth control is ok then abortion must be to. If someone don't want children and their condom pops and the girl gets pregnant. It must be ok for her to get an abortion because she don't want it.

If that is not right, then make a new argument about why its ok to use birth control. I see little difference, both are stopping a children from being born. So, if it is not ok for someone to get an abortion because they don't want a baby, then it is not right for someone else to use a condom or birth control. Because they don't want one. Like I said both are using a method to not have a baby. Ones not right the other not right. leaving post
The scripture you provided is totally taken out of context. God commanded this when the people on earth dwindled in numbers. If we did what you suggest and just multiply like crazy it would send the world downhill QUICK! We are incredibly overpopulated as it is. It would trigger incredible famines and economic problems. They already kill babies of the "wrong" gender in China. It's like how women are told not to braid their hair. This was a sign of a prostitute in biblical times.
Lol I love how you're totally saying that overpopulation and global warming (with record highs all over the U.S. right now) are myths without providing counter-evidence and just saying "trust me on this one". I guess countless children aren't dying all over the world from famines?

Lol false, not to get too graphic as this is a Chrisitian forum, but there are plenty of consensual acts that a married couple can engage in sexually that have a 100% risk of pregnancy. Are you saying these are murder too? Because if you are then you will lose almost all credibility though behilarious.
Yeah married couples shouldn't share the gift of sex because they don't want children? You know it's be;iefs like this that make people laugh at Christians and view us as closeminded.
