For They Shall See God,

This process though is not just for a chosen few but
rather it is for all. When Jesus stood on he mount,He
was talking to all who were there. There is a difference
though between hearing and doing. It is easy to read
but another thing to do. Becoming pure of heart means
we empty ourselves of our old selves and take on the
Spirit of God. Jesus is telling us, that was then and this
is now. You can't put new wine into old wine skins. So
watch Jesus is saying you can't mix the old law with the
new. Jesus becomes the new life. In fact Jesus is the
new law. Scripture has Jesus saying "He who comes
through me, comes to the Father who sent me." Does
that mean that now we throw God the Father out the
window; of course not. Strictly it means that whatever
we see Jesus do, we should also do and then we are
doing God's will and not our own.
