The only thing that we can boast in is the cross and nothing else. What does Paul say that keeping law allows a man to boast. Saying well I do this and them heathen don't. The cross is the focal point and should be the focal point of your faith and not what you do.

Jesus Christ our lord and Savior yes and to love one another as he love us :)

Romans 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

1 Corinthinas 13:4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant.

4068 perpereúomai (from perperos, "a braggart") – to act as a braggart, i.e. a "show off" who needs too much attention (used only in 1 Cor 13:4).

Having confidence is wonderful, when it is connected to confidence we have through faith given by God.
Paul wrote of, “Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him.” Ephesians 3:11-12
Paul also wrote that when it comes to boasting…"And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, ‘Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.’” 1 Corinthians 1:30-31
But confidence solely in ourselves and boasting of our own efforts are foolish.
Look at those of other religions who “attempt” through self-confidence and their own efforts to bring themselves close to God, but are faced with the truth that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23. We could never make it to God on our own and by our own self-confidence, we needed and still need Jesus to be that bridge to God. God sent Himself to save us. That work was 100% His part.

Yes, its does says to give God all the glory and we are not to glorify ourselves or others. And so we can boast about the things that God has done in our life.

Job 1:21 and said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.”

17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
