There were 2 Enochs. There was 1 from Cain (Gen. 4:17) and one from Jared (Gen. 5:18). But, the one from Jared 'was not.' What does that tell you? If he was not then why is he now?
So, the Enoch that wrote all of the books was from Cain. That is saying the same thing as the Israelites survived because of Moses. From Cain's Enoch came Lamech and the murder went on down the line until the final murder which was Christ and then it has gone on until now and it is just about ended. So they say, about 2000 after the birth of the Christ. (*can't change that, but I know it says 7th from Adam)

The 6th generation from Adam and Eve is Lamech. Well, that is from the line of Cain from Eve. Adam begat Cain. Cain begat Enoch. Enoch begat Irad. Irad b. muthujael. Methujael b. methusael. Miehusael b. Lamech. From the 6th, Lamech it was broken into two. It became the same as Cain and Abel. Remember Cain killed Abel. Lamech killed a man.
Gen 4:24 If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.
The 7th was Jabal and Jubal, and Tubalcain and his sister Naamah.

The third child from Adam and Eve was Seth. It goes from Seth to Enos to Cainan to Malhaleel to Jared to Enoch.

Luk_3:37 Which was the son of Mathusala, which was the son of Enoch, which was the son of Jared, which was the son of Maleleel, which was the son of Cainan,

Hold on! Tell me why there are 2 Enochs and 2 Lamechs.Is that just a coincidence?

Gen_4:17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

Gen 4:18 And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech.

Gen_5:18 And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:

Chapter 3 verse 1 talks about the 14 trees which do not lose their foliage for 2 to 3 years until 'the new comes.'
I am trying to tie that in with Revelation and the Tree of Life.

Rev_22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

There are 2 trees of life that bore 12 manner of fruit. That may have to do with Revelation 4:10.

Rev 4:10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
 
In Rev. 4:10, the crown is a wreath which is a twine of leaves. The elders cast them down every 2 to 3 years to heal the nations. I think that has to do with the different herbal remedies that are here. That is the leaves that heal.
 
Chapter 10 verse 1 of the Book of Enoch talks about God sending Uriel to the son of Lamech to tell Noah to 'hide thyself' and that a flood is coming and that his seed can be preserved for all generations of the world.
Azazel must be the Devil who is going to be cast from the darkness into the fire. . . .
This is a very interesting book!
