As the title says, just some book suggestions. I think they're all really great must reads. If anyone has a Nook I can 'lend' some of these books out (I can only lend each of them once though :/)

Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller
Vintage Jesus by Mark Driscoll
A Sweet and Bitter Providence by John Piper
Life as a Vapor by John Piper
What is the Gospel by Greg Gilbert

1: The Shack (William P. Young)
2: House (Frank Peretti)
3: The Oath (Frank Peretti)

The first one is touching and it WILL stretch you perspective as to who God is or it will offend you if you refuse to open you mind to what it is saying. House and The Oath are what one might call "Dark" and they will STAY dark until the last chapter or so. House really freaked me out for a while and I've played some very dark and video games in my time.
 
i suggest Save Me From Myself by Brian 'Head' Welch. He is the former guitarist of the band Korn. I was never a fan of the band, myself, but it was still an amazing book. It chronicles his life from poor kid, to rock star, to heroin addict, to suicidal, and how God finally delivered him from all of his addictions. Its a really powerful story to see the radical change in someone. I'm normally not into biographies, and things like that, but this was totally worth the read.
Word of warning... he opted to tell the stories of his past 'as is' meaning, unedited. So there's a bit of language in the earlier parts, especially. There is an edited version a 'youth group' version available if you are really bothered by it, but i preferred the original.
 
Firebird: A Trilogy, by Kathy Tyers. Well written, interesting Christian SCIFI :)
