But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law Gal 4:4.

What is the importance and significance, of Jesus being born under the law?

In other words why did Jesus need to be born under the law and why is his life lived under the law good news for us?
The purpose of the Law is so that people will know what is right and what is wrong or what is good and what is evil. Where there is no law, there is no transgression. When Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, they automatically passed this knowledge to all of their descendants. We are all born with this knowledge and it is called our conscience. That is why we are cursed by this law because our sins count against us. Jesus born under the law simply means that Jesus as a human is descendant from Adam and Eve and was under the same law as us. The good news is that because Jesus was human just like us, was perfect, and allowed himself to die in our place, in God's kingdom of perfect justice and mercy, life is owed Him by the Father which He gives to those predestined to salvation.

And glad you have the energy again to do more.. Anyhow a verse I can think of is - Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ Matt 4:4. Plus its one of my favourite verses lol

True, that, but the upside is my supplies are free and take very little space and make no mess :D

Thank you for the inspiration :) Would you prefer a little lamb over the deer?

He had to be born at a time where the LAW was still how God dealt with the Jews.

Until Jews buy into the new covenant, they remain under the jurisdiction of
the old. In point of fact, the Diaspora's compliance with the covenant that
Moses' people entered into with God per Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and
Deuteronomy will determine whether they are granted entry into Messiah's
kingdom. (Ezek 20:33-38)

That's certainly one aspect of him being born to Jewish parent were the lineage goes back to David. The Messiah is that King that was prophesied.
Do you think that any man born a biological Jew, or any man born a gentile changed God or God's laws in any way?

The God-man, that is Jesus, fulfilled the law. Jesus is certainly a biological jew. (in regards to his human nature/flesh). He is fully God and fully human.

Ordinary men and woman cannot make God do anything nor can they change his laws.

The God-man fulfilled all the requirements of the law. He was sinless. And it is that righteousness we appropriate through faith.

So if we appropriate Christ's righteousness through faith, it would be kind of foolish to try and get righteousness through the law. Why would we build back up what has been torn Down (to use Paul's language).

That doesn't mean we are lawless!

The simple answer is He had to be like us to represent us. There is no hope for fallen angels because they have no one to represent them. There are also implications for His priesthood for us.

The law from God is perfectly good, and it is not void. There are those who are not among the ones who have come to Christ and would be in Christ who bore things for them, who are under the law from God still. Those who do not know the law still have conscience provided that is with them, that bear witness to what is good to do and what is wrong that they do. We would be subject to consequence with judgment for wrong things we have been doing, that the law from God itself shows, without being in Christ who bore it all for us, and we should turn from all the wrong things we have done to never continue with those still, with our spiritual growth, to not still have those additional things Christ bore. We are saved to be delivered from sinning and the consequences of sinning to be restored to God in relationship and to grow in godliness with that, in Christ.

He keeps the law perfectly for everyone believing.
Gods wrath against our law breaking is turned away as Jesus is our propitiation.

Jesus said not one tittle or jot shall be removed from the law until all is fulfilled which Jesus was a sinless man so Jesus had to be under the law to conquer the law by obeying it perfectly as a human being which caused heaven to be open for people who accept Him as Savior and do the will of God.

is this right ?

“When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife.

And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife; her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭24:1-4‬ ‭

or is this right

“And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him. And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you?

And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.

But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; and they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭10:2-9, 11-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

do you see how different it is and why ?

“knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭1:9-10‬ ‭

the law isn’t about right and wrong it’s about sin

“Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

if it was to give the knowledge of righteousness we soundly have ever needed the gospel which came after the law

“But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:21-23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

so you have the law making everyone aware of sin and then you have the gospel which says if you hear and believe you will be saved

The law and the prophets were until John:

since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭16:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

one is to make us all guilty the whole world and to know our sin the other is to come and save us through repentance and remission of sin imparting Gods truth and righteousness by the spirit

we could actually obey Moses law perfectly but it would require us to judge and condemn tone we witnessed do a sin it would require us to supply sacrificial blood constantly to the leviticle preists it would require us to actually disobey Jesus word in the gospel

“Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: ( Moses law exodus 21:24-25)

but I say unto you, ( Gods word ) That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:38-39‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The law gives the understanding and knowledge of sin and shows us were sinners too

the gospel gives the understanding of Gods children and knowledge that we are those children through the son and we can be redeemed and set free from sin

Born of a woman - Gave him his humanity
Born under the law - Had to fulfill the law so he could take the curse of the law. To save mankind from the curse of the law.
