I am eighteen, and have chosen to remain a virgin until marriage. I have been dating my first boyfriend for six months, and he does not accept that I want to remain a virgin until I am married. I suggested waiting until we were in a situation where we were ready to get married, but he says no. He has become very rough with me and keeps pushing me to go farther than I want to sexually. I am scared to leave him because he says that he cant live without me etc. etc. but I don't want to have sex with him, and lately it feels like our relationship is all about that.

What does everyone think? Should I loosen up like he says? SHould I leave him? What do I do?

Hello there; I would suggest that you leave him right away. Because he is either not saved; or if he is saved, then he is definitely not right with the Lord.

I commend you for your decision to keep your purity by remaining a virgin until marriage. Don't let this guy talk you out of it. Just dump him and move on. Also, don't fear him. Who you need to fear is the Lord. After all, we all must appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ to receive the things done in our bodies, according to what we have done, whether it be good or bad (2 Cor
5:10).

Hi honey,
I'm a 17 year old female and the sermon on Sunday was actually about purity and sex before marriage. It was great to re enforce that waiting until marriage is the correct thing to do. God wants us to look after our bodies, yes he created sex but he created it to save for a special person who you'll marry. That is what he has planned. It's not unnatural to want it before, it would be foolish to think that everyone on the planet can wait until marriage to feel that passion but I think that people only feel regret if you don't wait. He didn't just create it for the ability to make children but also for pleasure, however that should wait until marriage. The way I see it is you choose God's will or your boyfriend's? Who do you love most? My answer would always be God. I can't tell you what to do, that's your decision but I strongly urge you to think about those two questions and if he really loved you he would respect your decision and wait in anticipation.
My view is that you shouldn't date unless you have marriage in mind anyway, what's the point? And so that your boyfriend should wait for you two to get married if it is serious.
I know I may have sounded a little abrupt but I really don't want you to regret it. I care about you. It's time for Christians to make a stand for our morals x

If he keeps pushing your for sex without respecting when you say "NO," than he is no gentleman. Furthermore, what matters most is whether you please God or not... all else is secondary. This boy's desires are not of God. Trust me. A real man would respect when a lady said "No." This is the difference between "boys" and "Men." It sounds from what you've said like he's been getting a little too physical in a threatening way for comfort. Chick, Dump this jerk! He doesn't love you, he just thinks of you as meat! Trust me, I'm a guy and I've seen this type before...
Also, when he says he "can't live without you" - He'd say that to any chick he wanted to bed if they wouldn't let him use them. I don't care how emotionally nice he seems. That's an act to get what he wants. Now don't do the stupid thing and jump him just because you got mad over what I just said! LISTEN TO GOD ! --- If nothing else, take that away from this conversation.

I really hate to say this but if he keeps pushing you to have sex I say dump him. Cause the point of being a Christian is to wait until marriage to have sex.

What more can I say? I met my wife a virgin, we courted for 3 years got married. I wasn't a virgin but waited for her because of the love I have for her. Don't loose what you have kept all your life. I'm sure we are all proud of you. Keep it up girl

You need to be very firm about your beleifs and if he continues to push then take a break from seeing him.
