I call these symptoms brain fry. I've been having trouble sleeping for about 3 weeks. I'm exhausted and when I lay down I just lie there brain a-buzzin', hyperventilating, trying to breath, pray, and relax. Usually it takes about 2 hrs and it's very frustrating.
Last night I was completely manic. I stayed up hours later than I normally do to guarantee I'd be tired enough to sleep when I went to bed. I copied scriptures, prayed, read my bible... all relaxing stuff. Then I went to bed. My brain was completely empty but the lights wouldn't turn off. For two hours I just lay there. When I finally fell asleep it was almost 2am and I woke up every 10 minutes for the next two hours. When I finally fell asleep and stayed asleep, it was 3am and I got up at 6am.
There are so many things to do today, but my body doesn't want to move. Oh Jesus!
