My Church told me time to pull out the canons:
please research effects on former patients of the new Livingston Hospital after being discharged.
short statement:
I have a brain tumor and Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy. I am trying to learn how to cope with it. I seem to have offended my caregiver Ashley and head Nurse who's name I don't remember on the 3rd floor of Livingston Hospital in Brighton. I am not allowed to drive and don't know last names and have gotten harassing phone calls not to go there. The times I have gone in for blood tests, MRI's and CT'S. We have gotten harassed and threatened by Security Officers which makes me afraid of going there. I am homebound and not sure how to handle all this. Last week I fell and instead of being admitted I was transferred to Ann Arbor Trinity Hospital --- the ER persons told me there were beds available at Livingston Hospital. Thus, I am being discriminated against.
More Detail at this time:
I was in the Trinity Health Livingston Hospital in Brighton, Michigan July 23 thru 26th this year. Ashley was my caregiver. She is a woman of noble character and genuine in her faith. I learned that I am not allowed to have any contact with her. While being checked out. A Nurse informed me and my wife that I have a brain tumor and Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy which had us upset. Also, I learned that I will not be allowed to drive. Ashley took me out to our car in a wheelchair, I could tell she was upset about something. I meant to ask her to lay her hands on my shoulder to pray. Before I could finish what I was saying she yelled at me. When Nancy my wife got in the car she also started yelling at me too. At that time, I went into a deep depression and have been in it ever since. I started crying and crying daily. I do not do anything I enjoyed doing before. I wish I just died that day!!! At Physical Therapy and DMV there were Driving Tests: There were around 225 questions, vision test for location of truck and car using quadrants, reaction time with gas and brake pedals, finding numbers in round color messes, identifying musical symbols. I thought I had failed. On the questions I got all right including the bonus ones., I had problems on the color test(color blind). As it turns out. I did better than anyone who took these tests. I feel like I need to do test drives to get back to par. My confidence is really weak because I am doubting everything I do. I was now allowed to drive again only for a few days because of a zoom appointment with my primary doctor. I said, I wanted to talk with Ashley to ask her to forgive me for what I said. He punished me by not allowing me to drive a second time. The power outage soon after that had negative effects on me because I use a cpap machine. It was cold outside. Every time, I turn around I feel like I am being punished and hopeless. Today, I was called by IHA Security, not to try to get in contact with Ashley or I will be arrested for trespassing at the Hospital. So, from here on, I will only pray for my friends at the Hospitals. On Monday, I fell and hit my head in our living room. My wife Nancy took me to Brighton Hospital who sent me by ambulance to Ann Arbor Trinity Hospital. It was a see-saw ride that left me constipated. The water there was soda which had me exploding numbers 1 & 2 all over the place. Man, I feel sorry for those nurses. My wife spent Wednesday night there to be checked out after talking to a case manager to set home PT Thursday around 1500. There was bleeding in my brain. I keep getting many infections, Teeth, Jaws, Bladder, etc,. My primary doctor says I am allowed to drive, but advises against it until my wife says I am getting better. Through everything, I have been feeling like a prisoner.
I have tried to get in contact with the hospital priests with no success. When I call the hospital to speak with someone to apologize, I get the run around like what is their last name? The Hospital does not have last names on name tags. They told me Ashley no longer works here. Others in person told me she works on the Second Floor Surgery. I am in fear and feel unsafe when I go to the Hospital for blood tests, mri's or ct's. Someone, maybe security often gives us harassing phone calls that I will be arrested for trespassing. Other nurses have told me if Ashley tries to contact me She will be fired. At the Hospital Security Guards are always blocking everywhere I go, asking why I am there. It feels like a maze. When I called to speak with a social worker they would not even take a message.
All this has me depressed and upset!!! Livingston Hospital Must get their Act together and treat people like me with respect.
