Brining parents to Christ?

A bit of a background.
Both of my parents were raised as Christians but they no longer go to church or read the bible and i don't believe they even pray anymore. I would like to get them in a stronger relationship with Christ or even a relationship with him period. What are some things you did to bring others to Christ? what did you say? what did you do? success stories would also help here for encouragement.

I actually won my parents and both siblings to Christ and my advice: pray, and find ways to reflect Christ in your daily interaction with them, and share the Scriptures with them in a tactful loving way. And it doesn't hurt to try to get them to come to church for activities and things if they're not faithful. A suggestion would be to ask them if they'd like to do a weekly family Bible study with you.
 
As a parent of three children, the best solution is your life. Let them see what your walk with Christ is like but do not nag, it will turn them off. Your testimony will be the most important witness they can see. Encourage them to go with you to church, talk to them of how much it means to you, and maybe a compromise can be had.

Start with prayer. We all prayed for my dad for years and years. And then in 2009 my mom died. That softened his heart. And then the next year he was diagnosed with stage 4 lunch cancer. And that got him saved. It was a long and sad journey, but one that was an answer to prayer. My dad excepted Jesus as his savior before he died.
