I've heard a few at times be puzzled by Galatians 6 because it seems to contradict itself.
Galatians 6:2 KJV
2Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:2 ESV
2(D) Bear one another’s burdens, and(E) so fulfill(F) the law of Christ
Galatians 6:5 KJV
5For every man shall bear his own burden.
Galatians 6:5 ESV
5For(J) each will have to bear his own load
I think I've found the answer to the apparent contradiction....
Galatians 6:1-5 ESV
Brothers,[a](A) if anyone is caught in any transgression,(B) you who are spiritual should restore him in(C) a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. 2(D) Bear one another’s burdens, and(E) so fulfill(F) the law of Christ. 3For(G) if anyone thinks he is something,(H) when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4But let each one(I) test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. 5For(J) each will have to bear his own load.
Galatians 6:1-5 KVJ
1Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
2Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
3For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
4But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
5For every man shall bear his own burden.

Basically there are two types of load/burden bearing here.
1. One has to do with carrying the spiritual burdens of your siblings in Christ and helping them live for God and keep out of sin. v 1-2
2. The other has to do with not comparing yourself to others, but instead just measuring your own fruit and works in the faith. v 3-5
The first one says ,"Hey help carry some of the spiritual weight of your siblings in Christ and encourage them and help keep them out of sin."
The second one says, "Hey, no need burdening yourself by measuring yourself against others, just worry about your own qualifications and measure yourself by yourself."
