1 Peter 4:1 (KJV) Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

The 'same mind' is speaking of suffering not sinlessness. Just an example of your lopsy loopy interpretations.
We'll cease from sin AFTER we have suffered the ultimate....death.

It could also be said the context is suffering, and not complaining about that suffering (sin) if we arm ourselves with the mind of Christ, we will endure suffering, and not sin because of suffering. (complain, gripe. get angry, woe is me etc etc)

I've got no desire for the type of darkness of Stephen King as entertainment, but have read crime thrillers and the like, enjoy some dramas where people aren't exactly planning camp meetings. But I have no interest in trying spy out somebody else's liberties, when I have my own! If I'm in a glass house, there are no stones in sight.

No. That is not what the passage says. It says those that suffered in the flesh have ceased (stopped) from sin.

And thank you for throwing your thoughts in there! Paul would be saying, "Ain't that a fact." Well, Paul who works at the corner gas station. You get to the end of Romans 7, and Paul is outright relating his experience as a Christian,

Romans 7:24-25 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Pretty much exactly what you're saying. (I have no idea what the spiritual double amputees around here claim they're walking on.)

Let's start with "Go and sin no more." Sorry to inform you, but that is unfortunately not in the earliest manuscripts, which means that it was added later. Much later. Now, if you want to believe Jesus actually said it, that is your business, but hermeneutically speaking, even if it was in the earliest manuscripts, you should never make a doctrine out of just one scripture.

As far a teleos, I have no idea what source you are using, but teleos is translated as "end, goal, complete, mature and sometimes (rarely) perfect." (Bauer and Danke is my source!)

As far as the paranoia, you might want to see a doctor about that! Seriously!

There is an urgency you see in many, on a few topics they're, as if, in a crush to try and cast doubt upon. It is doctrines of devils, however one otherwise wants to characterize deception that tries to tear at faith. But instead of nefarious, it seems more troll behavior than anything else, not that a troll has a good spirit pulling their strings. The repetition and the banter they achieve from people who they can push a button and summon seems to be the game. I don't believe the devil is so lame to beat his head against the wall, trying to snatch anything from the Lord's hand, that he at least knows what's possible and what's not, has bigger fish to fry, in any case. The web would also be where you'd find people resort to, who don't have a congregation, who have cult-like private interpretations nobody in mainstream Christianity needs or wants to hear. There is a real epidemic of borderline narcissistic disorders out there! And institutions have had their share of people with Christ complexes.
