As an example, check your spelling.....
Perfection can't be obtained. In any way, shape or form.

Stop scaring people by twisting scripture.
.....it makes a relationship with God seem unobtainable.

EVERYONE is the entire globe...you sure about that?

If you have not actually spoken to everyone, then you cannot speak for everyone

I think the OP is an excellent topic just so long as it's kept in perspective.
What I mean is that Christ was discussing Judaism with the rich man rather
than Christianity.

Christianity's pathway to perfection is quite a bit different than Judaism's
but that doesn't mean Judaism is totally useless.

The koiné Greek word for "schoolmaster" is paidagogos (pahee-dag-o-gos')
which defines not a headmaster, nor a teacher, nor a tutor. It essentially

Perfection for us is an ongoing process. We are to reach for perfection even tho in this world we will never fully attain it until Christ returns for us. There's an old saying that kinda applies I think:

“Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.” ( Norman Vincent Peale)

So if we shoot for perfection, even if we miss we will better ourselves by the effort.

Legalists look at perfect as in carnal perfection, or a perfectionist. That type of perfection can't be attained. But being mature to rightly handle God's truth, that CAN be attained, though many seldom do.

Of all people, it's the perfectionist-legalist that totally misses the mark..... ironic, isn't it?

I dont know how everyone looks at the word you just see people getting nutso over it.

There are certain folks who make others out to be an offender for the word "perfect" as it is is translated in scripture. They do it all the time, and they put their own stuff into other folks use of scripture and into the word of God and they run around accusing people on things they themselves have put there. I just observe them doing that, and watch when they rage at something its always at the scripture with thier innuendo all over it.

James describes the perfect man

James 3:2 For in many things we offend all.
If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man,
and able also to bridle the whole body.

The ability of the perfect man in this thing seems to also show the ability of the man in respects to the body also.

Amen. The elder of the Faith speaking truth on the perfect man and the ability to bridle the whole body.

Bridle - (verb) to control or hold back; restrain; curb.
