​I gaze upon the waterWith the sun on its path
For the day's journey
Across the wispy sky
Today is more special
As will be tomorrow,
Endless are the joys
When they begin from within.
In the distance, a boat
Trimmed with full sail
On its way to shore
Leaving its wake behind.
The earth is so beautiful
Such a heavenly place
Sometimes it has its fury
Sometimes it has its grace.
But always a special
Meaning in its place.
And in our hidden darkness
There is always a light
In its hopelessness
Always a twinkle of Hope.
 
I sometimes have to read poems twice to fully get it in, sometimes I get it better after reading it a second time. Much food for thought given from reading this poem, every line, even though it is written short, has a great meaning behind it. Also a deep poem. Very nice.
