Nike's WORST Nightmare Comes True After Caitlin Clark Signs with Adidas
Caitlin Clark is very good at basketball. Many compare her to Larry Bird, but Larry was not a ball handler, I would compare her to Pistol Pete Maravich.I don't keep up much with basketball, but could someone explain to me why Caitlin Clark is known in basketball? Or why is she famous?
Is she good at it?
I only know the one and only Michael Jordan and i've seen his documentary too on Netflix.
The WNBA was built on black women players. As for her claim about benefiting from "white privilege" I don't know enough about her. Still you can imagine that some of her advertising appeal might be because some see her as a "great white hope". She certainly is making big bucks from advertising, and who knows, behind closed doors they may have told her that being white adds to her appeal.Caitlin Clark Bends the Knee to Woke Culture: TIME’s ‘Athlete of the Year’ Says She Benefits from ‘White Privilege’ and Says WNBA Was ‘Built’ on Black Women Players

She is an awesome basketball player. I can see a multimillion dollar endorsement coming her way.She is very successful it 3 point shooting WAY out there.
"Defensive stopper"? From what I have seen in the WNBA they are so bad that as long as you can rebound that is probably all the defensive stopping you need to do.She's famous for being a good female basketball player. Some have tried saying she is skilled enough to play for the NBA, but in reality, she wouldn't even be good enough for the NBA G league. No disrespect to her or to women though. Biologically, men and women are built differently.
I'm not sure Larry Bird would be a good comparison in terms of a male NBA player other than they are both White. I would say she is mix of Stephen Curry and Luka Doncic. The stature of Curry but with the play-making skills of Luka Doncic. She isn't extraordinarily athletic and fast (like Luka), but she still manages to get to her spot when she wants. She is also a decent rebounder for her size (similar to Curry). She is a competent defender who can show flashes of being "good" on that side of the court but is no defensive stopper by any stretch of the imagination (much like Curry/Luka). Like Luka/Curry, Caitlin can shoot from just about anywhere on the court. She clearly excels more on the offensive side of the court while making her teammates better players.
I agree. My point is saying she is weak on defense is not a liability in the WNBA.she could leave you and i both in the dust![]()
