Caitlin Clark won the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the year award.
She received the award for her performance with the Indiana Fever, which included setting several rookie records and leading the team to the postseason.
That should say she is good at Basketball.
Caitlin Clark has the most points all-time in NCAA Division I history, male or female, with 3,951 points.
She surpassed the previous record held by Pete Maravich, becoming the all-time leading scorer for both men's and women's college basketball.
That should show she is good at Basketball.
But I still give it to Pete Maravich as beating her for he got 3667 points but he played only 3 seasons, only 83 games, and there was no 3 point line, and scored 44.2 points per game.
Where Caitlin Clark got 3951 points and played 4 seasons, 139 games which is 56 more games, a three point line, and scored 28.4 points per game which is 15.8 less points per game.
If Pete were to play 4 seasons she would not of beaten his record.
And would of been a lot more points for Pete if there was a 3 point line.
It is like Barry Bonds getting 762 home runs.
Hank Aaron getting 755 home runs.
And Babe Ruth getting 714 home runs.
But Barry Bonds had 1448 more at bats than Ruth and got a home run at every 12.9 times at bat.
Hank Aaron had 3965 more at bats than Ruth and got a home run at every 16.3 times at bat.
Babe Ruth got a home run at every 11.7 times at bat.
So I give it to Babe Ruth.

They said she is a ball hog but she got the most assists in the 2024 season.

The reason the fans like her so much is because of her personality.
Which the NBA players stick up for her and support her and believe she is a better player.
She is so popular, and well liked, that when the other players diss on her, and belittle her, and anything else like that they hurt their own selves for their popularity goes down.
The truth is that the League including the refs who will not call fouls as well as players do not like that she is so good because it makes the League look like they are not really that talented.
As far as white privilege it is a void term and meaningless because Caitlin Clark made the League by her own merits and talents.
In the WNBA 64% to 70% are black people so where does white privilege come in at.
Some people just say anything even if it does not make sense.
They cry she got in the League because of white privilege all the while Caitlin is beating the pants off them and running circles around them.
As if she did not earn to play in the WNBA.

if someone offered me $100 an hour to watch a wnba game, i would not do it.
that said, the league hates c. clark.
The WNBA strongly supports DEI, which stands for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, which is supposed to be an organizational framework designed to ensure fair treatment, equal opportunity, and a sense of belonging for ALL people, but apparently that does not include ALL people in the WNBA. Especially not Caitlan Clark! Hypocrites!
Forget what the league should do, if they were going to do anything they would have already done it. Spectators should stop supporting this league. If they were to lose 50% of their fan base that would be a fitting penalty.
Broadcasters. We get a lot of attention when they beat the crap out of Caitlin Clark. White girl punching bag.
In hockey, they call them goons. There is no excuse for that and esp at that level. It was intentional.
