These protests and counter protests are creating more interest in the WNBA than there ever was. It would be far more effective if people simply boycott the team she is on.

good observation.

it is getting more eyes and clicks on the w n b a and they are probably happy behind closed doors about all the attention.
 

I think this ruling is designed to fan the flames and get publicity with the rule that "no publicity is bad publicity". I think a better ruling would have been to ban this girl for the rest of this season and next season, allowing her to return in two years provided she has attended all the mandated counseling and a note from the counselor giving her the OK to play again.

Now after every hard foul there will be screams of banning and suspending people and possibly racism if this is not done. Not only so people will go through old tapes to find other hard fouls and see what the penalties for those were.

Like I said this gives the pundits something to talk about and keep the WNBA in the news. It is clear that the WNBA is quickly turning into women's roller derby.
 
Kara Lawson is starting with a veteran-led lineup, which excludes Caitlin. Does not benefit Caitlin or fans because her game suffers when she is excluded from the start; her shooting and rhythm suffer. Caitlin doesn't play to her full potential, so it doesn't benefit her much to be a sixth-woman benchwarmer, which benefits the starters at Caitlin's expense. Taking one for the team so to speak. They still are on the path for gold.

The violent racists on the teams that play against Clark are disgusting.

The Refs punish their target, which only encourages them.

Maybe it's allowed because girl on girl violence is thought to bring in more viewers.
