California town banishes Christian Church

I'd donate to them to buy some huge church bells to ring out Sunday mornings and evenings call to worship .. Some that can be heard for 2/3 miles and I'd open the church windows during choir and singing worship ..
They would perhaps get slapped with a disturbing the peace injunction. It has happened

Yes, it has, and it continues to happen.
Try stopping the Muslim call to prayer in your neighborhood — any opposition to that nails-on-chalkboard incessant wail at 5 am is met with accusations of racism (Islam is not a race) and “Islamophobia” (a euphemism for sharia enforcement).
In Europe, muezzins are replacing church bells. That’s reality. source

There is no doubt there is ALOT going on Covid-19, BLM movement etc.etc.etc. I read this today and felt strongly to share: "In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths" (Prov. 3: 5-6 God has shown us the path to everlasting life, and in His mercy He trusts us to follow it.
We are blessed to have a divine friend in heaven that loves us and created both heaven and earth. If the path is not clear or we are not strong enough to walk in it, be assured God will carry us. It will be His footsteps that we see, and the path to light will be clearer with time.

With all that is going on I tend to take my eyes off Jesus at times.
But I m reminded of His wonderful promises such as "I know the plans I have for you says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope" (Jer. 29:11)
Again with all that's going on it's sometime difficult to believe this but God said it and He cannot lie. ALSO - Satan may have won battles BUT JESUS HAS WON THE WAR. I didn't mean to get carried away this was just on my heart. We cannot loose hope.

you dont need an actual BELL. In the middle ages they had them because they had no phones back then, and later they had huge clocktowers cos not everybody had a wrist watch.
Banning churches from occupying first floors of downtown buildings? i don't see that holding up in Federal court.
Aside from being unconstitutional, well, it IS California.

honestly, i am surprised that things like this have not happened sooner...
Years ago.....goodness, don't even remember.......maybe in the late 90's, Huntsville, Alabama banned a church from singing and playing their music on Sunday mornings because it could be heard from the street.
Now, one has to understand that this Church was located on 231 South........south of Huntsville City by some 4 miles and the ONLY THINGS around it were 2 Strip Clubs, a State Liquor Store and a Gas Station..............
the Strip Club Owners of Double D's and Fantasia complained.............. this is a TRUE story, I will never forget it because they appealed, and lost on their appeal at the State level......
So much for separation of Church and State, and that pesky old 1st Amendment thing. It was the first sure fire proof that Governments at all levels will side with those that generate tax dollars far quicker than those that do not................
