hey everyone

this is my first time but i need this. i have been saved for more then 15 years. walked away and have come back. and even now want to be closer. i need to hear the voice i haven't heard for years. i need to know how to talk to my friend.

pray that i hear God. that He gives me what i need to say to my friend that will get him to see his need for Jesus.

Hi, alienchild, glad to hear that you're back on track, and that you want to hear God's voice, and that you want to witness to your friend about Jesus. Awesome! :cool:

One thing you can do that would help is to ask God to fill you with The Holy Spirit (if you haven't already done so), because His leading will make it easier for you to know what to say to your friend. Also, don't rehearse it beforehand, just say what The Lord gives you to say at the time (.....take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.) I'll pray for you, Bro. :)
 
I pray that you as a loved on of Christ find your identity with Him. Knowing God is worthy, begin to praise Him in thankfulness!!! I raise my hands to shout the return of His love one! AMEN!
