If there is any christian rapper's out there who wanna chat about anything that has to do with music and collaborations, life situations or just a friendly chat; your more than welcome. Other musicians, producer's and even regular people of all ages are welcome!
 
hmm... so I'm not a rapper, but i do write poetry! =]
and i dont like much rap, but Manafest is pretty cool! not to mention he is really nice! I ran his merch booth at a show once.
 
I love to write christian rap and poetry but if you want to hear the best in the christian world its gotta be Lacrae. His music not only sounds amazing, but his theology is on point. Reformed to da fullest. He has a new album called ''Rebel'.' Check him out. Also there 's the ''116 clique''. Based on romans 1:16, They are a collaboration of christian rappers with great music (including flame, trip lee, tedashii, sho baraka, and etc.).

This may come a bit harsh or such but you must rather know the truth than believe in a lie.

Gods people does not rap. Loud 'cool' music does not exist within Gods people. 'Party' does not exist within Gods people. Those who likes to party are the wicked ones, for example when Moses went up into the mountain to recive the 10 commandments, when he came back down, people had made a golden galf, and they were dancing and partying. All of that is wrong.
 
um, i listen to christian death metal. so am i going to hell?
I mean the lyrics of the songs talk about God.
and God really only cares whats in my heart and that i love Him and Believe in Him.
 
and the music i listen to is my kind of worship. the slow stuff tends to bore me, but my music gets me pumped for God and is my kind of worship music. And when i "party" at christian concerts I just an super excited about God and dance around with the believers around me. I dont do drugs or drink. Just cuz a person listens to music besides traditional Christian music, does not mean they are doing wrong.
 
If christian rap or rock is wrong then what type of music is correct? the bible says praise the lord all throughout the psalms but it doesnt say what type of music it must be. Partying and dancing to music for the lord are two completely diffrent things. were not in sin by listening to any kind of music, the sin is in our thoughts in our hearts (intentions) and/or actions not what we listen to. Besides you cant defend that theory with any scripture. the reason the people of isreal were in sin when moses left was because they were worshipping an idol not because they were dancing. If thats the case then david sinned against god when he was praisin.

Now i shall answer you. That which is not of God or from God, from who is it? If it is not from GOD, then it is from satan. It can't be from in between. This may not make sense for you at this time, i listened to rock music a very long time ago aswell, but as i came to GOD, i started to like different things and felt differently. Your time may come, if you are of GOD you shall give up most of what you have and even start to like different things.
 
Also something interesting you should know.
Leviticus 19:27-28
Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard.
Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the LORD.
 
those are the old laws, and since Jesus died for us we are no longer held accountable to those laws.

This message is directly to Ell, the bible speaks of people like you brother "HYPOCRITES!!!" How are you going to stand there and go ingenst the will of God! The bible also say's to spread the gospel, not to spread the gospel in way's no one will want to hear them cause it's boring! Christian rap, rock, r&b, reggae or whatever. It's all a stradegy, ever heard of God working in mysterious ways. I want true people on this page, so I'm going to ask you nicely before you hurt any other young people hear, don't ever log on to my page again. I'll be praying for you.

Wow, that is the dummest thing I have heard today! God was not angry at the people of Israel because they were dancing, He was angry because they were worshipping the Gold calf. As long as what your doing is in accordance with the Bible the you should do it. If you like rock music and want to worship God with "Christian" rock music, the go ahead. If you like country, rap, whatever it is, just direct it towards God and ask Him if He is pleased with your offering.
 
Toby Mac, and I even heard a KRS-1 Christian rap song once. All I can do to replace my Pac/Biggie/Dre/Snoop days.
 
I love Christian rap and Christian R&B. I write both of them and I enjoy doing it. I thank God everyday for blessing me with the gifts he gave me. I pray that I will be a famous singer, actor, song writer and architech by age 26.
