Colossians2-13John5-21.png

Colossians 2 v 13, John 5 v 21 When you were dead in your trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom He wishes.

But the angel said to Joseph:

(Mat 1:21) And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins."

The angel didn't say: "And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will do everything needed to save any person wanting to know God."

He only saves His people. Those who hear His words are His people.

That's how it works.

Since he paid for everyone's sins?
The Devil can never know who will be next to jump his boat.
Just like the Devil thought Saul of Tarsus was a trophy on his shelf.

He asked God to create (as of heaven and earth from nothing) in him a new (pure) heart, and to renew (in the sense of repair) his spirit (Ps 51:10).
It's the same thought. The idea is that God would change him inwardly so that he will be changed outwardly. It is a recognition of his need as well as a recognition that God alone could perform such an exercise. It was a plea for restoration. Read verses 11 and 12. He has the Holy Spirit already...v11. Restore the joy of salvation...v12...not...restore salvation. He longs to have the relationship he once enjoyed with God to be restored.

Seeking to kill Christians, yes.
That only goes to show how degenerate and dumb are those who get sucked into false teachings can be.
Paul was a post graduate legalistic Pharisee.

God shocked Satan and his angels.
For they never can know who will be next to stop being their trained dog in the fight.

That is the beauty of having paid for the sins of the world.
It totally destabilizes the enemies of God who must use people to do their fighting, and can never really know if their efforts in guidance and inspiration were all in vain. God makes nothing of those who think highly of themselves.

Why doesn't God give everyone a similar experience to Paul? That would be a "shock" to satan and his angels.

God can do it, and if He genuinely wants all to be saved, why doesnt He? Free will? That didn't stop Him from stopping Paul

Paul was chosen for service at a critical point in "church" history... he himself states he made a decision to obey.

19 “King Agrippa, I obeyed what I saw from heaven. 20 First I told what I saw to those in Damascus and then in Jerusalem. I told it through all the country of Judea. I even preached to the people who are not Jews that they should be sorry for their sins and turn from them to God. I told them they should do things to show they are sorry for their sins.
Acts 26

Paul was seeking to kill Christians. I am not surprised you are ignorant of this.
What is degenerate and dumb is you attributing my acknowledging what

Paul was doing to anything other than Scripture truth.
But that is how you and your ilk operate with your CDS. It is rather pathetic.
And also predictable.

God would then bore His enemies, always having things the same and predictable.

God is the creator of creativity.
Never boring.
Never predictable to those who oppose Him.

That is why demons know there is the one God and shudder in fear of Him! James 2:19

For no matter what they do?
They have learned that God can make it work against them!

I stopped trying to identify with what they must go through. It is insanity.

Nice video cover page.

It doesnt have to, the Spirit is a Gift. The Spirit work preceded the belief, which you oppose and deny even in light of scripture.

Yes....

The Spirit needed to suppress your flesh before your soul could be able to choose to believe in Jesus Christ.
But that was not receiving the Indwelling Holy Spirit to live in you.
That was just the Holy Spirit setting you up for making your choice to believe possible.

Once you believed?
THEN! The Holy Spirit took up permanent residence in your body.

Correct I try to avoid eisegesis, Jesus never stated.....

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and has the gifted belief to believe him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
John 5:24

I write these things to you who has been gifted with belief to believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.
1 John 5: 13

Whoever has been gifted with belief to believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
Mark 16:16

“I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will be gifted belief and believes in me through their word,
John 16:20

Paul was seeking to serve God and uphold the Torah truth as he knew it. He saw the Christians as enemies of God, so to serve God, Paul thought he should stop the Christian movement.

Paul was not a killer who went around murdering anybody at random.

Since John Calvin advocated for his theological opponents to be executed, it is not surprising to see Calvinists focusing on Paul killing Christians.

Acts 22:4,5

I worked hard and killed men and women who believed as I believe today. I put them in chains and sent them to prison. The head religious leader and the leaders of the people can tell you this is true. I got letters from them to take to our Jewish brothers in the city of Damascus. I was going there to put the Christians in chains and bring them to Jerusalem where they would be beaten.

Good point.. I like it when things are truly presented in full biblical context!!

There is a question about Paul literally killing Christians with his own hands.

Since he was a Pharisee, he could not personally commit murder.

When Paul said he killed, he may have meant he advocated for their death, thus he had them killed.

In Paul's defense before King Agrippa he stated: "I not only locked up many of the saints in prison after receiving authority from the chief priests, but when they were to be put to death I cast my vote against them." (Acts 26:10, ESV)

Yeah? And Calvin? Who did he kill with his own hands? Nobody, mister liar hypocrite.

The truth is Calvin did not any more murder anyone than Paul did, but you spread lies anyways. It's your nature.

I once knew a witch.
Who had a terrible itch!

But after she got found out?
She became a terrible b_tch. :(

Her cat would scat, when she entered the room.

But, I must say!
I never saw her... carrying a broom.

For gone are those days...
Replaced, by the vacuummmmmmm!

The vacuum of her thinking.
That darkened emptiness from within.
Trying to fill it with egotism, and inventing new ways to sin.

Looking behind me...
Now, it's but a tiny speck on the horizon.
Yet, still trying to win!
But never knowing where to begin!

The end.
