Recently I got into a discussion where I was told that demons can ONLY be expelled/cast out (in the name of Jesus) by 2 people and it were biblical.. I disagreed but because I did not know of any scriptures I decided to go do some research and my Mother helped me.
Here is the proof that you must not be 2 people. Of course 2 people are better for where 2 or more come together in the name of Jesus he IS in the midst but it is still possible one on one.

Acts 19:11-12 KJV
11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:
12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.
Here we have that Pauls hands (not the one of multiple people) were used by God for healing
Mark 9:38-40
38 And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.
39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
40 For he that is not against us is on our part.
Here we see that Jesus even gave a command ‘’Forbid him NOT’’ , so it is indeed allowed and biblical to do things in the name of Jesus alone.
Acts 9:17-18
17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.

So here we see that Ananias who was sent by Jesus put his hands on Saul (who is also known as Peter) and heals him to see again which is also a strong miracle.

Acts 9:38-41
38 And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to them.
39 Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.
40 But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
41 And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive
Now here Peter even wakes someone up from the dead alone. He sent everyone away and woke Lydda up from the dead!

Conclusion:
The claim that spiritual deliverance and other miracles done in the Name of Jesus is only possible with two followers of Christ/persons is false and unbiblical. It even is a command to not stop somebody who does. When scripture that some may use to try nullify this proof, which is recorded in all gospels as for example ...
Mark 6:7
And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;
You may want to remember that at this time the disciples were learning and needed to be built up in faith still. As you see after they had enough experience (and/or the baptism of the Holy Spirit) they went out and did things on their own. Anarnias was simply sent by Jesus alone but seen enough and had claimed the Holy spirit to do the works etc he has done.

i totally agree -The 2 ppl thing maybe more for agreement in prayer

Deliverance is one step further than prayer it is the next step is commanding in the Name of Jesus

I was delivered all alone. Just fasting and praying in faith. Didn't even know it was going to happen. Great share!!!!
