In my experience it was others telling me I had devils after I was born again and started saying that Jesus Christ is real and started confessing that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God and the Lord. I knew that I was saved and the holy spirit was in me and that Jesus Christ was in me and I in him.
Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation. ~ Matthew 12:45. Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. ~ Luke 11:26
The verse that was used against me was Luke 11:26 and Matthew 12:45. How do you explain this verse in light of the saved not containing a devil?
The verse that comes to mind is Matthew 16:23 - But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
Would you say that Peter was not yet saved so Jesus could say Get thee behind me Satan? For Jesus to call Peter Satan he would have to be in him?
Also in Luke 11:26 and Matthew 12:45 is this an example of those that are possessed and are set free of those devils through the name of Jesus but don't get saved therefore more devils return?
2 Corinthians 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
Is 2 Corinthians 11:15 a example of those that say they are saved but are really ministers of Satan and therefore can have a devil?
Are those Christians that are truly saved that are said to have a devil or devils fulfillment of what Jesus Christ said making them of Christ's household?: It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household? ~ Matthew 10:25
Thank you so much for your time.
