Can Homosexuals be filled with the Holy Spirit?..

Well. I am currently gay. I want to change. In fact, I don't like it this way. Many times I have felt the Lord so close to me, I know it is possible to feel the Holy Spirit, feel the love of God and the inner peace. Knowing that he loves you makes life bearable somehow, but still I am struggling to change my sexual orientation. I believe that you don't have to be perfect to feel the holy spirit, being gay is a sin, but God forgives and changes. I personally believe that God will allow me to change, its a process.

Homosexuals can never be filled with the holy spirit,period.You're talk about HOLINESS here.
 
I've been thinking, why wouldn't God give Homosexuals a chance to be Holy?, therefore filling them with his Holy Spirit!.. So yes, i think Homosexuals can be filled with the Holy Spirit
 
No offense, but I vote no. Gods plan was, and is, one man, one woman. Not two men, or two women, or one man and one animal. Period.

Tobby, homosexuals can not be filled with the Holy spirit, unless they themselves are living Holy in front of God.. salvation comes first.
 
Does the Holy Spirit reside in a Christian that is a liar or drunk? Yes!

We are not perfect, yet. Homosexualality is a sin, nothing more.

So are we sugessting that if we sin the Holy Spirit flees and does not return?

We are a work in progress, repent!! That is what God wants us all to do, we are all sinners, especially me, I make mistakes all the time, but I do not let that hinder me, learn from it and continue..... but you must repent, so says God, not me.

So if you're Gay, then i think you have to first thinking about getting Delivered before baptism of the Holy Spirit.. Sorry but i find it puzzling, How can you be Gay and have the Holy Spirit?..lol. It's very funny to me :D..

What do you mean how do the feelings come by.... Satan obviously, but that doesn't mean your possessed. Sin is sin no matter the name of it... That's like saying if you have a problem with lust your demon possessed.
 
Yes, if they repent!
As every one has to do so, to be saved..
Read the New Testament,the Gospel of Jesus Christ, who is One with the Fathher!
The Old Testament is gone!
Only the New Testament does include Gods's salvation plan through his son Jesus Christ, who is one with the Father and the Holy Spirit!
 
I belive the holyspirit would depart until that man or woman changed his or her ways of living
 
This was an interesting thread, I hope more people post.
I know a gay couple who are ministers. One a former Baptist minister and I have many questions about homosexuality and how I should feel toward it and those that are openly gay and ministering.

I think an alcoholic can minister to others as they are healing and learning to turn from sin- but I guess the question is- is this really the same. I know what I think, but I also know these men to be loving, good people in other areas of thier life- do they have to be repentant and admit that homosexuality is a sin in order to be saved?

My opinion and judgement really does not matter in teh end - except in - how should this be handled in the church ? I think there are alot of ministers ignoring the elephant in the room.. and the church maybe should take a stance on where it stands on this...
young people - all people- need guidance on these issues.

homosexuality IS a spiritual matter, and in some cases, yes it is possession, cutting is demonic possession, Legion, (the demon casted out by Jesus in the bible) was causing the man to cut.
 
What is homosexuality? It's a sin. What is lying? It's a sin. What is adultery? It's a sin.
Homosexuality is a sin just like any other sin that we struggle with. I don't understand why people think that homosexuality is "the sin above sins" or "it's more sinful to be a homosexual."
Just because we are Christians doesn't mean we don't sin anymore. EVERY SINGLE ONE of us still struggles with some sort of sin.We aren't perfect.. yet.
Though we are still sinners, we CAN still be Spirit filled.

This is the best I can do. I doubt I covered everything.
 
How can you be responsible for the souls of others if you can't even get your own soul delivered? A pastor or minister is supposed to be a godly example to the congregation of how to submit to and walk in obedience to God. You can't be a leader if you don't know what or who you're following and can't discern the difference between living a life that glorifies God from a life that glorifies satan--you have no business trying to lead anyone anywhere!

I'm sorry, but seriously? What a load of rubbish.. what if someone said to you that your experience of god isn't real because you've sinned again since your baptism?
I thank God that I'm not attracted to men, but I've sinned in other ways. If it wasn't for the grace of God, none of us could be saved.

it's Not about someone have passion for boys or another one have passion for girls .....it's about someone have passion for God and Holiness , that's the person that the holy ghost are looking for .....
