I don’t know what you mean! I know many adults who have friends of the opposite gender.

but is it platonic

I have observed that there seem to be a lot of same sex couples in Quakers, who are meant to be religious friends. I.e they have actually married each other.

I am not sure how that works. Sure they LIVE together, but then they seem to be coupled up as well.

Then theres the oppsite, in catholicism, they seperate the genders into monks and nuns. Why is this? Is it because brothers and sisters cannot get along with each other?

Just wondering.

I get all of what your saying. But my best friend is a girl, and I’m a guy. We love each other but we aren’t in a girlfriend boyfriend relationship nor do either of us have any desire to be in a relationship. But we love each other.

I dont have 'best' friends though...I have I guess what you would call close friends but I dont really pick one over the other.

Based on all the posts I've seen you make, is it correct you don't have any adult male friends because you think they all want to touch you, and touching you would be immediately turn into violence and control on you?

I didn't see that he was thinking for you. He asked a question.
it was a leading question in which he assumed an answer.

I just said nope. He wasnt correct.

People dont like to be told they are wrong lol

But sometimes they are. Who is right all the time?

as for left and right brain whatever, last time I looked the brain had two hemispheres and they were connected by the corpus callosum.

Sometimes people just dont use their brains thats all.

of course a platonic friendship would be weighted on the male side, given that Plato....was a man. Possibly they mean friendships between male greek philosophers like...Aristotle and Socrates.

wHat about a friendship like the one Jesus had with Mary?

With all the strange stuff you have come out with, one would think you would be a bit more understanding when other people say weird stuff.

Every time you use that acronym I think you're talking about a video game, Shadow of Chernobyl.

Call of Pripyat (the sequel) was better though.

Its funny when I did philosophy 101 I dont remember that we ever studied Plato.
All I remember from that course is logic and a smattering of Cartesian dualism which I couldnt get my head around. I dont think Descartes had many friends.

He was the one who famously said 'I think, therefore I am'

SoC?
Isn't that Shinobi: Octagon Clan, or maybe Seals On Command? Samari, Oven Cage?
