I still have some VHS and cassette tapes. I don't have one floppy. Actually, I don't recall ever having had a floppy.

I have to admit that I have some old VHS that I bought at a vintage store that sold those.
I remember wanting a special movie that I couldn't find for years.
Then I did a Bible study on a special weapon.
Then the Lord revealed something new about it to me.
That day, I got an order for that weapon that arrived.
The same day, I went to town and I finally found that movie featuring that exact weapon.
I went to buy it and told the lady all about the series of events leading to the purchase of The Perfect Weapon.
Guess what she pulled out from under the counter??

😂
YES, IT WAS THAT SAME WEAPON!! 😄

Impressive! What a smashing story. So I take you now have the weapon?

Btw, do you have a VHS player?
Mine died, so I don't know why I still have VHS tapes lingering around.
Dad and I kept it going till it couldn't go anymore. We had the top open and we would fiddle with a few things inside of it to get it going each time we watched a movie lol

I still have one. I just haven't watched anything on it or DVD player for a while. Do you have online local bulletin boards or what we call in America Pawn Shops and thrift stores? A thrift store would be a good place to check for a replacement machine.

I still have the weapon. The expandable

That's smashing!!

I actually don't want one, I was just curious if there is anyone that has one anymore lol. Thinking about, I now remember that dad had bought a JVC VHS to DVD recorder a few years ago. It might still work if I ever get the urge to want to try it. I have too many DVDs (and I have a player), but I don't even watch them much anymore.
Yes, Oklahoma has plenty of pawn shops. I think that's where I got my first VHS player lol. And I love to go thrifting. I was at my fave thrift shop a couple of days ago. I needed a paint roller and they had one...just one.

I think I jumped to a wrong assumption when you used the term Smashing . Lol
That's a good term that doesn't get used enough.
That's Smashing!
