This is exactly me, except with computers. I have actually had that happen where somebody brought me a laptop I gave him a few years before, and I had no memory of giving him the laptop, but I recognized right away, "oh yeah this is the one with a really good battery and one bad USB port." Still didn't remember giving it to him.
So what kind of games do you play?
I'm guessing your a Civilization kind of player. Hard to tell from forum posts though.
